Substitute Bride and Her Husband Who Disappeared novel Chapter 125

"That's not happening!"

Nancy shook her head in refusal, "Sleeping with you? What am I, a mistress? No way!"

Regardless of everything else, the thing Nancy found most distasteful was that though she was the bride at the grand and lively wedding years ago, the name on the marriage certificate was Vivian's.

Now, everyone in the world knew that Charlie's wife was Vivian. Even though she and Charlie had gotten a marriage certificate, nobody knew about it.

Under such a baffling circumstance, she certainly wouldn't just sleep with Charlie.

Charlie raised an eyebrow, understanding Nancy's thoughts.

Because of this, he had never forced her.

"Nan, you're not a mistress, and I won't let you be one."

One day, he would announce his relationship with Nancy in a totally assertive manner!

Nancy's gaze darkened, and she pressed down hard on Charlie's most sensitive spot. As expected, Charlie winced in pain, and she chuckled in satisfaction.

Serve you right for liking Vivian!

The next day, Nancy was on time at the set, learning martial arts moves from Matthew. She even asked him to teach her some grappling techniques.

Just thinking of Alexander made her feel sick. If he continued to mistake her for Vivian, he'd definitely pester her when they were alone.

She could use him as practice then!

Soon, the set was bustling again. Nancy turned her head and saw Charlie surrounded by Director Grant and the team.

For some reason, ever since she'd come to terms with her feelings, she couldn't help but smile whenever she saw Charlie.

It was a kind of uncontrollable joy, a smile that she couldn't suppress.

At that moment, Charlie looked over at her. Seeing her smile, he smiled back.

"Huh?"

Nancy looked at him, puzzled, "Why wouldn't you need lunch?"

Matthew snorted with a smile, "Because all the lovey-dovey moments between you and Young Master Firth have filled me up!"

Nancy just smiled and didn't say anything, continuing to learn martial arts moves with Matthew.

In the afternoon, some reporters came to the set for interviews. After interviewing Director Grant, they all eagerly rushed towards Charlie.

"Young Master Firth, we heard that you're the primary investor of this movie. Did you invest in this movie to pave the way for Vivian?"

Upon hearing this, Director Grant immediately turned unhappy, grabbing the microphone, "What do you mean pave the way? I decided to cast Vivian as the female lead after seeing her billiards video. Don't write nonsense. It's just a coincidence that Young Master Firth invested in this movie."

The reporter snatched the microphone back and handed it to Charlie again, "Young Master Firth, we heard that you flew to Europe right after your wedding ceremony with Vivian three years ago and only returned this year. You didn't even come back once during that time. Is your marriage with Vivian a business alliance, or are you genuinely in love?"
