Chapter 793 Females Are as Excellent As Their Male Peers
"August!" Joshua looked at him in disbelief.
August also raised his voice, "Let them go!!!"
The worry in Lucia's eyes was fleeting, and then she looked at the team members at the door and said firmly, "Let's go. Just say that I am the hostage you are going to hand over."
Seeing that neither August nor Joshua refused any more, the team members gritted their teeth and led Lucia and Sophie out of the tent with red eyes.
Seeing the two gentle and beautiful figures slowly disappear, Joshua could no longer suppress the anger in his heart.
He suddenly knocked down the equipment next to him to the ground, looked at August, and shouted coldly, "August, what are you thinking?! How could you let two women out?"
"Lucia is right..." There was a touch of loneliness in August's voice.
Joshua was taken aback.
"At a time like this, we shouldn't be emotional." He seemed to be responding to Joshua, and said with a look of seriousness on his face once again, "Re-deploy the plan."
Joshua looked at him coldly. He suddenly thought of something, rushed out of the tent, and ran towards the direction Sophie left.
Hearing the sound of footsteps, they looked back at the same time. Seeing Joshua, Lucia smiled slightly, looked at her companions, and said, "Let's go ahead and wait."
Sophie was "left" in place inexplicably. When she looked at Joshua, she became more and more anxious, "Why don't stay inside at this time? What are you doing here?!"
"I..." Joshua paused, and he stared at her intently, as if he wanted to say something. He said hesitantly when his face turned red, "You must wait until I rescue you, and you must come back safely."
Sophie felt a warm feeling in her heart and blushed after she heard his words. She nodded heavily, and said with firm eyes, "I believe in you."
"i* |
"Sophie, I..." Joshua hesitated and looked at her.
Tm not going to die. Why are you making it look like I'm dying?" Sophie patted him on the shoulder carelessly, and said half-jokingly, "Now my life is completely in your hands."
As she spoke, she looked at him with bright eyes and gently tiptoed to approach Joshua. The distance between them gradually shortened. Before he could react, Sophie's soft lips had landed Joshua swallowed slightly, and his big hands were subconsciously clasped behind her head. The air between his teeth began to become thinner as he refused to let her go for a long time.
Joshua reluctantly let her go until both of them became slightly short of breath.
The blush on Sophie's cheeks gradually faded, and she leaned against his ear and smiled softly, "Don't let me down."
Joshua watched her leave, and slowly said, "Sophie, I like you..."
His voice was loud enough for Sophie to hear. Looking at the road that might lead to death in front of her, she somehow felt sad again.
While her eyes turned slightly red, she sniffed and forcefully forced back the tears that were welling up in her eyes. She waved her hand with her back to him, and responded loudly, "Me too!"
Looking at her appearance, Lucia comforted her softly, "Don't be so sensational. It's not like you won't see each other again in the future."
The two of them had walked to the door of Griffith Organization while they were talking. The once glamorous Griffith Organization now looked dusty and dilapidated.
Lucia's face darkened. She looked at her companions beside her and reminded them, "Go and hide aside. Just wait to pick up those children, and leave immediately when you get them. If there is an accident during this handover, just go back and report the situation."
"Lucia, this is not..."
Her voice faltered, and she scolded in a cold voice, "Don't make unnecessary sacrifices. Where there is life, there is hope."
Not far away came the sound of uniform footsteps, and she immediately ordered, "Do what I say!"
Her several companions looked at each other. Seeing that there was no room for negotiation in her attitude, they could only bite the bullet and hide aside.
Before she could breathe a sigh of relief, the door of the Griffith Organization was slowly opened, and several masked men shoved a group of teenagers and directly approached them.
"Your organization is just sending two women over?" When the leader saw Lucia and Sophie, he was taken aback, and then sneered, "Are you here to be our hostages?"
Lucia looked coldly at the man in front of her, and her face darkened slightly, "Since I dare to come here, I'm not afraid that you won't let them go. Don't forget that this is the Griffith Organization, and you're occupying someone else's territory."
The man's eyes were full of scrutiny as if he was doubting the authenticity of her words.
Seeing this, Lucia snorted, pretending to be disdainful, and asked, "Why? You don't believe what I say? What value do you think a few children locked in the basement can create for you? Is this deal not worth it?"
"So what if we don't let them go? Do you think you two powerless women can escape?" The man asked coldly.
When Lucia and Sophie heard his words, they were immediately ready for a battle.
After all, this was the periphery of the Griffith Organization, and their people were hiding not far away with weapons for self-defense. In this battle, they would still have a chance of winning, and they could even guarantee to retreat unscathed.
Just when they were about to start a battle, the communication device on the man suddenly rang and someone said in a broken foreign language, "The hostages will be exchanged according to the original plan."
The man obviously looked unwilling, but he still pushed the children aside, immediately handcuffed the two women, and took them into the Griffith Organization.
The once quaint drawing-room was now dilapidated, and there was a gloomy feeling everywhere. A blond man was sitting on Flynt's favorite coffee table, savoring the coffee in his hand.
When he saw Lucia and Sophie, there was a hint of admiration in his eyes, "Well, as they say, females are as excellent as their male peers. I finally get to see it myself today."
Lucia raised her eyebrows, and snorted coldly, "As they say, you're nothing but a poor imitation with ludicrous affection."
The blond man frowned, and a trace of doubt flashed in his eyes. He fiddled with the computer at hand to search for information. Then his face changed slightly, and a look of coldness flashed in his eyes.
"A sharp-tongued, bold, and reckless woman like you deserves to die, and you must be a serious problem when you're alive!"
After he finished it, Lucia suddenly felt a stabbing pain in her neck, as if some cold liquid was slowly flowing down her blood.
Sophie beside her had already fallen to the ground, and the scene in front of Lucia's eyes became increasingly blurred. She bit her lips tightly, trying to wake herself up.
The blond man walked to her side slowly, and stroked the pinhole in her neck with his cold fingers, "I'm surprised that Griffith Organization can cultivate a woman like you. Maybe your life can help me catch even a bigger fish..."
Lucia tried her best to widen her eyes, trying to see the man's face clearly, but there was finally a white light in front of her eyes.
