Chapter 571 Garnett Was Discharged from Hospital

Joshua sat on the sofa in a leisure manner, crossing his legs, and stared at Lucia with a half-smile, and said smilingly, "Unfortunately, August was outside to discuss a project, so he didn't come."

Lucia gave him a cold look, and said firmly, "I'm not here for him." She came here for Garnett, and had nothing to do with August Joshua smiled, and didn't continue to say anything, but changed the subject, "Our people have already found the old monk's trace who stabbed August in the hospital last time, and we must find out where he is sooner or later."

Lucia's eyes flickered slightly, and the expression on her face softened a little, "It's good if we can find him, and don't let he be caught by Bishop's people and cause incidents."

Joshua paused slightly, raised his chin and said, "How about the little one inside?"

Lucia was a little puzzled, "What do you mean?"

Joshua spread his hands, and said in a casual tone, "I can't let him stay in my house all the time. People who don't know the situation will think that I suddenly have an illegitimate child."

Lucia tell into silence, pondered for a moment, and said softly, "If it is not convenient for you to take him in, then leave him to me." It is impossible for her to let Garnett be displaced and homeless again. For a six-year-old child, experiencing once was enough. Joshua smiled and said, "Okay, then I'll leave him to you. Maybe you can discuss with August about how to deal with this parenting issue?"

Listening to his tone, Lucia frowned. Why the meaning changed after listening to these words from Joshua's mouth? She paused, and said firmly, "No, I've already decided."

As she said that, suddenly the door of the ward was pushed open, and with a burst of chattering noise, Timothy and Janet pulled Garnett out from the inner ward. Timothy said excitedly, "Mom, we want to hang out with Garnett!"

Lucia's eyes fell on Garnett, and Garnett didn't refuse. She was both surprised and pleasant, and asked with a smile on her face, "Where are you going?"

Timothy jumped up and said, "Just go to the small garden below. Didn't we pass by when we came up just now?"

Janet on the side also echoed, "Yes, Mom, have you forgotten?"

Lucia laughed quickly and said, "After hearing what you said, I suddenly remembered. Let's go! I'll take you down!" "Yeah!"

Timothy and Janet jumped up and down happily. They walked outside excitedly, holding Garnett's hand. Lucia stepped up to follow them, not forgetting to turn her head and nodded to Joshua, and then walked out of the room quickly.

Arriving in the small garden, the children seemed to have been liberated from their nature, running around and laughing happily. Lucia was sitting on a bench, looking at this scene, the corners of her mouth curled up. Sure enough, the contagion among children was very strong. As long as Garnett was willing to go out and communicate with others, everything would be fine.

In the next few days, Lucia led Timothy and Janet to visit Garnett in Forest Clinic every day. Garnett became more lively and cheerful, talked more and became closer to Lucia invisibly.

Even the doctor over there praised that Garnett's physical and mental condition recovered well, and he did the related examinations.

They waited for the results.

What the little guy said made Lucia feel sore in her heart. She frowned slightly, took a deep breath, raised her hand and rubbed Garnett's little head, and said softly, "Don't worry. I won't make you homeless." Even if others refused to take him in, she would definitely give him a home.

At this moment, Timothy and Janet from the other side also surrounded her. Seeing the tears in Garnett's eyes, they couldn't help asking,

"Mom, why is Garnett crying?"

"He's fine." Lucia smiled, looked at Timothy and Janet, and said softly, "I want to announce good news. Garnett is discharged from the hospital today. From now on, he would go back to our home in West Bridge and we live together."

Timothy asked excitedly, "Really!"

Lucia nodded earnestly, "Of course, it's true!" As she spoke, she looked down at Garnett, who just happened to look up. His eyes flickered with expectation and gratitude.

Lucia felt more relieved, raised her hand and rubbed his little head. Then she looked at Timothy and Janet and said, "Garnett should be a little older than the two of you. From now on, if anyone asks, you just say he is your brother. Do you understand?" Timothy and Janet agreed in unison, and then they surrounded Garnett closely.

Looking at this scene, Lucia smiled. Suddenly she thought of something, immediately took out her phone and sent a message to August. "Garnett has already be discharged from the hospital. I will take him out of the hospital today. Before I find Jeff, I will take him with Me"

Although she didn't know if Joshua had told Jonathan what they had agreed upon, she needed to tell him before she took Garnett away.
