Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 903

Gregory Graham said as he took another sip of beer. When he realized the bottle was empty, he threw the bottle away, opened a new one, and continued drinking.

"They were the ones behind Seven’s previous accident. She’s your wife, and although she didn't end up dead, that’s only because she got lucky and met me. What if she hadn't? Gideon Leith, you can still say this so calmly now?"

Gideon frowned slightly.

He admitted that Nell’s accident was indeed the reason he was now willing to leave behind that big pile of domestic affairs and promised him to come over and cooperate.

However, he was no longer the young and vigorous man who was just starting out.

Rather, he was a mature man with a plan who knew how to look at the big picture.

He knew that by this time, both sides were exhausted, and no one would be able to gain any advantage if they continued to fight.

Thus, it was better to stop as they saw fit. The Chinese Association was now also much less powerful than before anyway, and their power had been diminished by at least 60%.

The rest of it just needed to be slowly etched away later.

As he considered this, he said in a solemn voice, "I know you're anxious about Vickie, but if she isn’t in their hands and we keep clinging to them, I'm afraid you'll only miss the time to truly save her."

Gregory fell silent.

That pair of handsome eyes darkened.

He stared at the void in the sky and did not know what came to mind. His appearance just grew colder and colder.

After a while, he finally said, "The people I sent out to track them down earlier finally came back with some results. Where do you think they took Vick at last?"

"Where is it?"

"Cambodia."

Gideon was shocked.

Gregory turned to him and sneered.

"That's where the Chinese Association’s headquarters is located. If someone can actually be there and take her away from them, then it can only mean that there are spies within the Chinese Association as well! This person's position isn't low either."

Gideon's mind turned rapidly and he understood at once.

No wonder Gregory was so adamant that he had to take down the Chinese Association. It was because of this.

Since the other party was a high ranking member of the Chinese Association, he would not be able to leave without his identity being fully exposed.

Even the people sent out to track down Vickie's whereabouts had been getting nowhere, not to mention finding the slightest clue as to the mastermind’s whereabouts.

The only hope now was on that traitor.

If they could successfully take down the Chinese Association, find this person and pry open this person's mouth, Vickie’s whereabouts would naturally be revealed as well.

Gideon thought about the fact that during this period, Gregory had been ignoring the situation, almost completely suppressing the Chinese Association's power from all aspects and at all costs. Then, his mind suddenly understood everything.

He nodded his head and said, "In that case, tomorrow's negotiation will actually be meaningless, so why don’t we cancel it?"

Unexpectedly, Gregory directly vetoed the idea.

"No, I’m going."

He took another sip of beer and slightly paused, the darkness in his eyes grew heavier.

"Tomorrow, you stay here with Nelly. I'll bring someone."

Gideon frowned.

A foreboding feeling surged in his heart.

"What do you mean? Do you want to…”

He did not allow her and Gideon to go because he was afraid that this would affect their reputation, but if he did that, would that not be the same?

Gregory did not say anything and gave her a somewhat repulsive glance.

His gaze fell on the couple’s interlocked hands and he sneered.

"If you want to be all lovey-dovey, go ahead. Get out of my face, annoying people."

Nell knew that he was only in a bad mood because his beloved was being held hostage, so she did not bother with him.

She thought for a moment and said, "It's not impossible to do that, but aren't you afraid that they'll get angry and kill her? When the time comes, don't blame me for not warning you. You won't be able to regret it then."

Gregory sneered again.

Nell saw that he did not want to listen to any advice and helplessly shook her head.

She stood up and said, "Since we’re already at this point, I feel that it doesn't matter whether we attack them tomorrow or later.

"Anyway, we've completely made an enemy of the Chinese Association, so even if we don't do it tomorrow, we'll have to do it someday in the future.

"I've just done the math. If the current trend continues like this, in less than half a month, we’ll be able to determine a winner between our two sides.

"If you're determined to fight to the end, we'll surely accompany you, but a lot of things can happen in half a month. You might also miss a lot of things during that time. Have you ever thought that if Vickie isn't in their hands, yet you spend half a month like this, who's going to save her later? What if something really bad happens to her? Even if you take down the Chinese Association and become the king of this underground, what does it all matter?"

Her words made Gregory's fingers that were holding the bottle stiffen, and he suddenly turned somber.

The air seemed to be quiet, and a strange silence fell all around them.

Gideon silently fondled Nell’s fingers and did not say anything, but his body had subconsciously moved in front of Nell to put himself between her and Gregory.

That way, if Gregory were to make a move, he could immediately protect Nell and counterattack.
