Although Jada used to have a relationship with Joel, they broke up later following an argument.

Joel never touched her and neither did he admit that she was his girlfriend. Moreover, the last time, he had publicly revealed her intention of getting close to him.

Noticing Joel’s lack of hostility towards her, Jada assumed that Joel had accepted her and hence she became more direct with her words.

“What kind of men do you women like, then?”

Joel was suddenly interested in knowing what women thought when he heard Jada’s words.

Now, Jada smiled bashfully.

Then, she leaned towards Joel.

“Well, us women...”

She ran a hand on Joel’s body.

Her voice took on a coquettish tone.

“Like men like you.”

Joel began to frown. He did not think that this woman would be so lascivious.

In fact, Joel did not like anyone touching him at all, and this woman in front of him was laughing in a slutty manner.

His gaze hardened as he stretched out a hand and shoved Jada away, causing her to fall flat on the ground.

At first, Jada was pleased with herself. Back when she was with Joel, he never let her come close to him unless they were in public.

She had nearly given up hope and believed that she would never have a chance with him. Contrary to her expectations, she bumped into him today and was even in such close proximity to him.

Therefore, she was so excited that her gestures became unhinged.

Nevile did not go after Joel. He understood how terrible Joel felt right now and he did not want to bother his friend further.

Jada sat on the same spot Joel had been sitting on and spat angrily.

Then, she stormed off as well.

When the two of them left, Nevile decided against staying in the bar any longer. He headed out after exchanging a few words with the bar employees.

The private room, which served as a place of peace and quiet to the three individuals, became quiet at once.

Jada was in a foul mood when she left.

Unlike how happy she felt when she first entered, she was now filled with rage.

In fact, she knew full well that Joel liked Lucy, so she was merely testing him just now.
