Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 256

Gideon saw what went on from the corner of his eyes and after disconnecting from the conference call, he asked, “What are you doing?”

Nell looked at him, “Oh, nothing, I’m just simply browsing.”

She pursed her lips and thought for a few seconds but eventually told him about the disappearance of Celine.

Gideon felt strange too after hearing about it.

He was not concerned if Celine was alive but due to this phenomenon, it may drag Nell into it.

After all, Nell was only pretending that something happened to her and will eventually show up. If something happened to Celine then, Nell would be blamed.

He got up and walked over to her to look at the map.

“You’re trying to determine where she went missing?”

“Yes.” Nell nodded as she flipped through the thin booklet and pointed at it, saying, “Jingchen is situated along the sea and Tranquil Dwelling is not far from it. Celine wouldn’t dare to take a plane and would only travel by boat. I want to see where these passenger ships will probably stop and where she might have left."

Gideon took the booklet.

“Don’t have to go through this hassle!”

He took out his phone to make a call and gave some instructions.

Listening to his instructions, Nell’s eyes lit up instantly.

After making the call, Gideon smiled and said, “She escaped. Naturally, she can't just buy a ticket to escape. If she wanted to take a boat, it must be from the black market. As long as I get someone to check who went on the black market boats, then we can know what happened."

Nell’s eyes lit up immediately.

“That’s right, why didn’t I think of that? Hubby, you’re awesome!”

A simple compliment lit up the man’s eyes.

“Your hubby has something more awesome, do you want to try it?”

Nell was stunned and her face blushed instantly.

Recently, because of Lizzy's presence, she would run over to look for Nell from time to time at night, so Gideon dared not do anything to her in fear that the child would run into them.

Moreover, this child was mischievous. Even if the door was locked, she would use the master key that she found at the hotel to unlock the door.

Gideon would not change the lock on purpose, therefore, since reaching the island, he had not been intimate with Nell for almost a week.

Coincidentally, today Old Madam brought Lizzy out to play and both of them were alone at home…

Nell’s face was as red as a tomato and she did not even know to place her hands.

“Um, Lizzy and the others will be back in a while…”

“They won’t be so early.”

Nell felt a grip on her slim hips and was lifted onto the table.

She was stunned and could not react.

Until he pushed the computer and books away, and leaned over.

“Uh...Gideon Leith you animal!”

Gideon kissed her eyebrows and could not help laughing.

Nell looked at him angrily.

However, he still laughed and held her hand beside his lips and kissed it.

Nell was speechless.

This man…

She would bite him to death!

She quickly thought of Celine’s circle of friends and their motives but was unable to pinpoint any.

This incident was just too strange!

Even Gideon felt it was strange, but to him, it did not matter if Celine was dead or alive.

As long as Nell was okay, he had no comment.

So, he said, “Since they think you have kidnapped Celine and based on their urgency to find her, why don’t you go with the flow and get them to confess first?”

Nell glanced at him.

“Isn’t this too deceitful?”

“Ha! There can never be too much deception in a war.”

Nell was dumbfounded.

Finally, after weighing in the factors, she agreed with Gideon’s idea.

Before she could call Sylvia, she received Hannah’s call.

“Elder Sister Nelly, something happened! Quickly go online, Celine is livestreaming!”

Nell was stunned.

She did not ask Hannah nor say anything else. Nell hung up immediately and opened Weibo to get Celine’s livestreaming channel.

Once she was in, she saw that it was really Celine.

Celine was facing the camera and she looked haggard and pale. The background looked like a hotel room.

She complained in tears, “These few days, my family members were worried sick for me. I was being held prisoner on a boat out at sea! If I wasn’t smart enough, I wouldn’t be able to escape. This is not kidnapping, this is murder!”
