Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 239

Gideon, of course, had expected all the consequences. He said, “Since she has decided to come forth, she must’ve understood the consequences. She did a lot of things to hurt you before and it’s considered merciful for her to pay you back this way.”

Nell might not have the heart to punish Kylie but she knew Gideon was right, so she decided to keep quiet.

Kylie’s video spread like wildfire. Everyone on the Internet knew about it after a while.

Celine also saw the video. She was shocked and angry at the same time.

She never would have thought that it was Nell who had captured Kylie before this, causing her assistant to disappear for a while.

Back then, the netizens scolded Nell and she failed to prove herself with solid evidence. Celine even hopefully thought maybe Nell had nothing to do with Kylie’s disappearance.

Now, it seemed like Nell was just holding back her trump card.

Just like the saying, “hit where it hurts”. Nell was forcing Celine into a difficult position.

Celine was anxious. The recording alone would be more than enough to affect her. Now her ex-assistant came forth and validated the recording, everyone would not believe her anymore.

‘D*mn it! That little b*tch!’

Anxious, Celine called Skylar over to talk about a plan.

Skylar was helpless. She had seen celebrities who could cause problems but none were as good as Celine.

All the problems that Celine had caused would ultimately end with her on the losing side. Her schemes always failed to get back to her target, instead, she was the one who suffered from it.

Skylar did not know what to say. She was rendered speechless by Celine’s doings.

Celine was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. Skylar looked at her and said after a quick thought, “I don’t think you can avoid this anymore. If Nell can use Kylie against you now, she must’ve some other evidence at hand.

“The more we deny it, the worse it’d be for us if she has any other evidence. Why don’t you admit it?

“After all, you have your solid fan base. You can just tell them it’s a little conflict between sisters and you were blinded by whatever reasons.

“You can then apologize to Nell through an online conference. It might not be able to salvage your image but at least it won’t further exacerbate the situation. This might be the best way out of this.”

Celine widened her eyes in rage and looked at Skylar in disbelief.

“Skylar, I called you here to come up with a solution to get me out of this, not tell me to apologize to her! If apologizing is a way, why would I need you? I can just go out and tell the mass and this entire thing would be over!”

Skylar frowned. “Then, what are you planning to do?”

“I’ll find someone to suppress the news. And the video and recording, delete them! DELETE EVERYTHING!”

Skylar sighed helplessly at Celine as she continued to fall deeper into her crazy abyss.

“The video and recording are already on the Internet. Let’s not talk about whether or not you can suppress this. Even if you spent a fortune to suppress this, it’d be meaningless.

“Those who knew already knew and the netizens aren’t stupid nowadays. If such a hot topic disappears all of a sudden, they’ll know it’s you behind this, spending money to suppress the news.

“No! It’s not me! Stop it! It’s not me!”

Celine denied it strongly but her nervous gaze had betrayed her thoughts and exposed her guilt.

Skylar found herself on the brink of breaking down. “Celine! Are you out of your mind! How can you abduct her? Do you know you’re not just ruining your image if this went out? It’s against the law! You might end up in jail! Do you even know what that means?!”

Celine grunted in disdain. “But did she die? Like all scourges stay for a thousand years, she’s still alive and she escaped by herself. Even if she wanted to sue me now, she doesn’t have the evidence to prove that I abducted her.”

Her confession reminded Skylar of something. She asked, “Have you cleaned up the mess?”

Celine nodded. “Don’t worry, I’m not that stupid to leave evidence for her. Right after she escaped, I cleaned up all the evidence. She won’t have any evidence to say that I abduct her.”

Skylar sighed a breath of relief after Celine’s assurance, but she realized Celine was a little too bold and reckless.

“I think you better talk to Young Master Morton about this. Even though you’ve dealt with the evidence, you can’t say for sure nothing will go wrong. Just go talk to him, he might be able to help if something happens.”

Celine’s face turned stiff after she heard what Skylar had said as she looked a little uncomfortable.

“No, I can deal with this myself. Don’t worry, you don’t have to tell him anything.”

“Are you sure?”

Celine ran out of patience and said, “I’m sure. I didn’t call you over to talk about this. Hurry up and come up with a solution. Help me deal with this matter!”
