Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 234

Nancy and Aunt Joyce were in the living room.

Nancy was frustrated because she did not expect things to go wrong. She had planned it all out with Nell yet she could still lose her in the end.

While Aunt Joyce could not believe that something happened to Nell.

The main door was then pushed open, and a handsome, travel-stained man appeared at the entrance.

“President!”

“Sir!”

The two ladies bolted up right away.

Gideon’s sharp gaze glanced over them before he walked over.

“Where’s the surveillance?”

“President, this is what we got 10 minutes ago. Madam was taken away by a gray taxi. I’ve hacked into the city monitoring system but we still can’t locate the car.”

Gideon took the iPad and looked at it with a cold gaze.

Just as Nancy wanted to say something, Gideon bolted up and left.

Shocked, Nancy quickly followed Gideon out of the house.

“President, I’m coming with you!”

A few minutes later, the car was sprinting on Anshan Road.

Inside the car, Gideon looked at the map and circled all the possible destinations of that gray taxi.

“Nancy, take some men with you to the south-east direction. Pay attention to abandoned buildings along the way. They wouldn’t have abducted someone to a crowded place, it would only expose them. The abductors must be in a quiet and secluded place.

“Also, remember that the abductors might switch cars along the way, so don’t just look for the gray car. Pay attention to any other suspicious cars along the way.”

“On top of that, call Dr. Lambert, tell him to be prepared. It has been hours since she was abducted, she might already be hurt. I’ll search in the south-west direction. Stay in touch in case there’s anything.”

Gideon calmly and swiftly gave orders to Nancy. With a nodded, Nancy got off the car and hopped into another one before she went searching in the south-east direction.

The phone rang, it was Aunt Joyce.

Gideon frowned as he was getting frustrated.

“What is it?”

“Sir, should we… call the police?”

Gideon was shocked. “You haven’t called the police?”

“N-Not yet.”

“Then make the call!”

“Ah! Yes, right away!”

The call ended. The man sat in his seat with his eyes on the road, and soon, his lips curved downwards into a fierce and violent grin.

‘Celine Jennings, you better hope it’s not you behind all this. Otherwise, I’ll let you know what is worse than death!”

When Nell woke up, she found herself still alive.

She was sincerely grateful to be able to breathe again but at the next moment, when she realized where she was, she cursed out loud.

“Holy sh*t! Where am I?!”

She found herself hanging off an almost-broken tree branch that grew from the steep cliff. Beneath her was the rumbling ocean.

As long as her feet could land on a solid surface, she would be able to untie herself and leave this sh*thole for good. Only then would she be able to truly survive.

It was then, her palm felt a sudden pain as if something was torn apart. The excruciating pain was unbearable.

Nell’s face turned pale as she struggled to look up.

When she saw that the sky was turning blue, she realized that it was already morning and the air was starting to get misty.

There were two frightening blood wounds on her palm. She must have cut her hands when she swung herself with the belt.

She was slightly stunned by her bloody hands and it was then she realized she was actually holding onto the buckle of the belt. The buckle had sharp edges because it had a punk style design. The buckle was made with iron, hence it glistened in silver under the sun.

Clenching onto her teeth, she tried to remove the buckle but with her remaining strength, it was impossible.

It was then she started to complain about the excellent quality of the branded items. The buckle looked like it was simply sewn on the belt yet no matter how hard she tried, she could not remove it.

She sighed helplessly. She had never thought she would find herself in such a difficult position.

The ultimate question now was: should she continue to save herself or wait for someone to locate her?

Her phone, bracelet, and all kinds of communication devices were all taken away, so waiting for someone to save her would be taking a bet on fate.

She still had some strength left. Although attempting to save herself might be dangerous, as long as she was lucky, she could do it and might not bleed to death.

If she continued to wait for someone, aside from the fact that her strength might not last until help comes, she was about 10 meters down a cliff. Who would think of looking for her here?

Therefore, rather than handing her life to fate, she might as well take the gamble.

If God did not let her die in that basement, God would not let her die on this cliff.

Nell was never a passive person, neither was she a person who would sit back and do nothing.

After some thought, she mustered her strength and swung herself towards the other side of the cliff.
