“Calm down, take a break. I’ll bring you out for lunch later.”

Nell frowned.

“I thought you said our flight is at 2:00 p.m.? If I don’t start packing now, what if we can’t make it to the airport?”

“No, we won’t be late. If we are really late, I’ll just call Nancy for help.”

Gideon did not even ask for her opinion, he put a coat on for her and brought her out of the manor while holding her hands.

“Where are we going?”

“You will know when we arrive.”

A little further away from the manor was a high-class restaurant, which was the only fine dining restaurant in town.

“Lizzy? Why are you here?”

“Ahem. Nelly, we meet again.”

“Old Madam Quinton? You are here too?”

Nell was stunned. The old madam awkwardly smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I brought Lizzy here for a little vacation, I did not expect to meet you guys here. What a coincidence!”

Nell was speechless.

She turned around to Gideon and saw her man averted her gaze. He was looking at almost everything except for her eyes as if he was not part of what happened.

“Leith?”

The old madam’s smile froze for a moment. She quickly forced herself to calm down and awkwardly said, “Uh… Yeah! What a coincidence! Haha…”

Nell nodded. “Yeah, what a coincidence.”

She subtly turned to Gideon and saw his gloomy face and furrowed brows. The man was not even looking at the old couple, as though he was having problems of his own.

Nell suddenly realized something. She chuckled and turned around to the old man. She greeted him politely, “Hi Grandpa Leith.”

“Hmmm, good, good. Have a seat. You must be hungry after a tiring night. Look at you, you are so thin, have more food! Make yourself comfortable!”

Gideon was petrified at the words of the old man.

Nell was rather generous at the comments, she smiled and nodded, “Thank you for your concern, Grandpa Leith.”

Old Madam Quinton immediately pinched Old Master Leith by the waist.

Old Master Leith did not know what happened, he looked at her with a confused look, “Hey? Why are you pinching me?”

Old Madam Quinton was speechless.

Lunch ended in a peaceful and warm atmosphere.

After lunch, Old Madam Quinton asked them to bring her to the manor that they were staying at.

Nell looked at the time and realized there was still some time before boarding, so she agreed and brought the three of them to the manor for a visit.

Lizzy stayed close to Nell as if she was glued to her, she did not want to leave Nell’s side.

Nell was fond of Lizzy’s company, she somehow felt close to this little girl. She carried her to the garden in the backyard and taught her how to braid a flower headdress.
