Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 173

Nell shook her head.

Truth be told, she really had no idea.

Derma Town was by no means small but not exactly huge either. The lights of tens of thousands of households lit up and they were able to see everything from afar, so it was obvious that they were on high ground.

However, she could not think of any high places that would allow them to see the entire town and allowed Gideon to lay out the long starry path at the same time.

“Take a look behind you.”

Nell turned around as she was told and what she saw made her widen her eyes in shock.

‘W-What is this?’

Countless stars appeared and flickered before her, complementing the rose petals that danced along with the wind before they touched the ground.

Then, she felt something moving around her as if the place was a moving house. Four walls rose from the ground together and surrounded them.

She could feel something moving beneath her feet but the vibration was soft and short.

When the stars faded and the rose petal landed, she found out that they were actually standing in a glass building.

“W-What is this?” Nell was awestruck.

Gideon held her hands tightly and led her to the edge of the house.

The house was mostly made with glass, it enabled them to have a 360º seamless view of the outside. Other than the ceiling and the ground, no matter which angle they looked from, they could see the romantic view outside the house.

“Gideon, what’s this all about? Are we standing in the sky? How is this happening?”

Gideon smiled, “You can say that. It’s just a little new invention. What if I told you that you’ve actually been here before?”

“Huh?” Nell looked at him with a confused look.

Her man pointed further away.

“Look there.”

She looked at where he was pointing at and saw a length bridge under the night sky with poor lightning. The bridge seemed to be holding a lot of things on both its sides.

She paid close attention to the bridge and finally knew what she was looking at, “The heart-lock bridge!”

“Yeap.” Her man nodded.

“We are actually standing at the peak of Mt. Herma but a little higher from where we spent the night waiting for the meteor shower. This house was built using nanotechnology, it is extremely flexible and transparent, that is why you felt like you were walking in the sky earlier.”

Nell was astonished beyond comprehension.

“So you told someone to build this house on the peak?”

He chuckled, “There’s no need for that much work. As I said, this house is extremely flexible, it’s mobile even. This place was built the moment we got down from the helicopter.”

Nell had a hard time believing that such a magical experience existed in the world.

Her man was not concerned about the technology and did not want to waste time discussing, he held her hand and said, “Okay, now that I am done with the proposal, shouldn’t you do something in return?”

“Huh?”

She was once again stunned. She stared at him blankly without knowing what to do.

Her man slightly squinted his eyes and pointed at his lips.

Nell understood and she flushed instantly.

However, since they were alone, no one knew they were kissing.

She tiptoed and kissed him on his lips.

On the other end of the monitor, the old madam was excited about the kiss.

“Hey old man, do you think they will make another grandchild tonight?”

The aromatic fragrance of the wine filled the entire house when it was uncorked. Nell’s eyes shone and curiously asked, “What wine is this? It smells so good!”

Her man looked at her affectionately, as if he was looking at a hungry little kitten. He curled his lips into a soft smile.

He did not answer, instead he poured her a glass. “Why don’t you have a taste for yourself?”

Nell flushed in embarrassment, “Can I?”

She was a wine lover but Gideon barely let her drink.

At first, she did not want to compromise but her man was stern with the decision, so she took a step back and let him have his way.

Gideon saw the flattery on her face and chuckled, “You can have one glass today.”

“Yes!”

She was exalted. ‘This aromatic wine must be delicious!’

With that in mind, she took the glass over and had a sip.

As the wine entered her throat, the aromatic fragrance remained in her mouth and a slightly bitter yet sweet flavor filled her tongue. The taste made her eyes shine brightly.

She took another sip. Compared to the bitter first sip, the second sip was a lot more aromatic, as if she was drinking some delicious drink.

Even more so when the wine entered her throat, it felt like she was not drinking wine but some precious heavenly drew. The aftertaste was rich.

Nell looked at Gideon with her crystal clear eyes.

“What kind of wine is this? It’s delicious!”

The man looked at her deeply, “No matter how delicious, you can only have one glass.”

Nell pouted because she did not get the answer she wanted but she dared not ask for more. She was afraid that if she went over the line, she might not even get to finish one glass.
