Spoiled by Mr. Russell novel Chapter 2200

“Your father knows what he’s doing. Let’s just do whatever he tells us to,” Alexander said.

“Oh.” Anastasia frowned, slightly puzzled. “Well, at least I’ve passed the message. Oh, I heard the twins have returned. Can I see them?” Her eyes gleamed with excitement. “I’ve never seen fraternal twins before!”

“They’re upstairs, but I don’t know if they’re awake. Go take a look,” Alexander nodded.

Anastasia got up and ran upstairs.

“They’re in the third bedroom on the left of the stairwell—” Anastasia had gone out of view before he could finish.

Anastasia quickly found the room because the door was open, and the two babies cried. Austin and Mike were in the room since the nanny had probably gone to prepare milk formula.

Anastasia saw Mike holding one baby when she entered. The adorable child stopped crying and looked curiously at her with teary eyes. However, the baby in Austin’s arms cried inconsolably, and he seemed flustered.

“Please don’t cry. I’ll have to give you a shot if you keep crying,” Austin tried to coax the baby, “You’re not sick or anything, so why are you crying? Are you hungry? The formula will be ready soon. Just wait a while, okay?”

Of course, the baby could not understand him and continued crying.

“Oh, come on! If you don’t stop, I’ll start crying too.” Austin grimaced helplessly.

Anastasia carefully cradled the baby and gently patted him. Mike said, “Be gentle, okay? Their heads are too fragile for you to swing them around.”

“I know; I’ve seen it on TV before.” Nodding, Anastasia gently patted the baby. Although she never cared for a baby, she knew what she could and could not do.

“TV? Are you sure you can handle her?” Austin did not believe a young girl like her could do it better than a physician like him. However, to his astonishment, the baby stopped crying after just two minutes.

Pouting, the infant now only let out intermittent sobs. Anastasia said, “See? She stopped crying.”

Austin was in disbelief.
