Spoiled by Mr. Russell novel Chapter 2177

Lily’s words terrified Fred, causing him to palm his stomach. “You’re just trying to scare me!”

“You’ll soon find out whether or not I’m telling the truth,” Lily smiled and returned to sit back down while looking at him, “So? Do you want to make the deal? I’m tired and need my rest.”

Fred glared at her, wondering if he should trust his words. Still, he could not tell if she was telling the truth. He initially thought she was bluffing about the poison, but the physician he visited proved him wrong.

Fred did not know how much he could trust her this time. He slowly clutched his stomach when the pain returned. Although he looked calm, sweat dripped from his forehead.

‘Should I take the risk?”

After a momentary hesitation, he said, “Fine, I’ll give your children to your husband and show you the live feed. However, you must immediately give me the antidote afterward!”

Lily nodded. “Deal!”

Alexander was at a loss when he suddenly received an anonymous letter. The letter told him to wait under the sixth maple tree on Maplewood Street after dark tonight. He read on and saw that someone was supposed to pass him his “kids.”

‘Kids?’

Thinking the sender had meant to write “kid,” Alexander was alarmed. He suspected someone had kidnapped Galen, so he made a call. He was relieved to find out Galen was playing with Dominic.

Still, he could not figure out whom the letter was referring to.

“Not so fast!” Alexander raised a hand and said, “It’ll be great if they bring the twins over. Hell, I don’t even care if it’s a prank. However, what if it’s a trap?”

The others fell silent.

‘That’s right! What if it’s a trap?’

“I have a way,” Cameron, who had remained quiet, said, “I can arrange for a stakeout operation. If anyone shows up, we’ll just make an arrest. That way, we can also find out what’s going on.”

‘Well, who knows, we might get lucky and achieve a breakthrough?’

Alexander nodded, thinking the plan was viable.
