“Do you have all your documents?” Yvonne asked.
“Everything’s here,” Dylan replied with a nod.
“Then let’s go.” Yvonne took her suitcase from Bennett and handed it to her assistant.
“When will you be back? I’ll pick you up,” Bennett asked.
Yvonne replied, “A week at most. Don’t miss me too much.”
The airport’s underground parking lot was a public space. Even with a hat and mask, Yvonne couldn’t be too affectionate with Bennett.
She simply reached out, gently squeezed his hand, and then let go.
“I’m off. I’ll send you my return flight details once they’re booked.”
“Okay,” Bennett nodded, watching as Yvonne, Dylan, and their assistants walked away.
The group took an elevator directly from the parking garage to the departure lounge.
While the assistant went to handle their boarding passes, Yvonne and Dylan waited in the VIP lounge.
“Yvonne, was that handsome guy your boyfriend? He has such a powerful presence,” Dylan couldn't help but gossip.
As a newcomer to the industry from an ordinary background, Dylan didn't recognize the heir to the Thompson Group.
Yvonne glanced at him and casually lifted her right hand. The diamond ring on her ring finger was impossible to miss.
Dylan was shocked. He never imagined his boss was already married.
“If you want to make it in this industry, you have to learn to keep your mouth shut, understand?” Yvonne reminded him.
Dylan was smart enough to get the hint. He nodded and didn't ask any more questions.
