Sorry for Your Loss, It's Me, I'm the Loss novel Chapter 593

By now, the actors who had auditioned had all trickled out of the theater.

York left as well. Cynthia was the last one to leave, holding a script with her assistant trailing behind her.

Cynthia was giving instructions to her assistant as she descended the steps of the theater, and only then did she notice Yvonne standing there.

Yvonne was wearing a white blouse and a skirt, really stunning. The gentle breeze lifted strands of her long hair, giving her an ethereal air.

When Yvonne saw Cynthia approaching, she offered a smile.

"Are you waiting for me, Ms. Jones?" Cynthia asked, pausing.

"I wanted to thank you for giving me a second chance," Yvonne said sincerely.

York's auditions were notoriously swift, and he never gave actors a second try. The opportunity to audition for the female lead had been given to her by Cynthia.

She knew that Cynthia had helped her today.

Yvonne didn't know why Cynthia had done it—perhaps on a whim, or perhaps for some other reason. But she had received help, and it was only right to express her gratitude.

"I just said a few words; it didn't help you much. The most important thing is that you earned it yourself. However, the role isn't necessarily yours yet. Anything can happen. Don't thank me too soon, and don't get your hopes up, young lady."

After her calm remarks, Cynthia left with her assistant.

Just after Cynthia departed, Sandra's car pulled up.

"Get in, you can't park here," Sandra said, leaning over to roll down the passenger window.

Yvonne quickly got into the front seat.

"Seatbelt," Sandra reminded her as she turned the steering wheel.
