Sienna wondered, ‘Wait… does Cameron not have any special talents either? Me too.‘

Sienna’s family was struggling financially, so all she could do was study. They couldn’t afford to support her for talent classes.

Sienna worked her butt off just to get into Stellanford University, the best university in the country.

But once she got here, she realized everyone wasn’t just smart. They all came from pretty wealthy families too.

It wasn’t like back in high school, where in their little county, most of the rich kids didn’t even care about studying.

Amelia was covered head to toe in designer brands. Just one look at her revealed that her family was loaded.

Lila also clearly came from money.

Cameron barely talked, kept a low profile, and no one could tell the brand of her clothes.

But her two brothers, who dropped her off that day, were dressed so well that Sienna just assumed Cameron’s family was rich too.

She never expected Cameron to not have any talent at all.

Sienna had always thought kids from wealthy families had some extra edge. If they weren’t good in academics, they had talents, hobbies, or training to

fall back on.

But now it seemed Cameron was just like her, and neither of their families had much money.

In that moment, Sienna felt a real sense of connection. Cameron must have felt Sienna looking at her, because she turned and glanced over.

Sienna flashed Cameron a bright, genuine smile. Before this, she’d been so self–conscious she couldn’t even meet Cameron’s eyes.

Cameron gave her a small nod.

After finishing her dance, Amelia made her way back to her seat.

“You were absolutely stunning!” Lila gave her a big thumbs–up.

“Thank you.” Amelia nodded with a smile, but her gaze lingered on Cameron longer.

Cameron didn’t hold back her praise either. “That was really impressive.”

Amelia’s smile grew even brighter. “Thanks. I’m glad you enjoyed my show.”

A few guys sitting nearby looked like they were about to come over and chat with her, but they backed off when they saw Amelia laughing and talking with the girls.

The guys finally caught up to them when the welcome party ended and the four girls were making their way out with the crowd.

One tall guy stepped forward and blocked Amelia’s path, trying to look smooth. “Hey, your dance tonight was amazing. Want to be friends? Maybe take my phone number?”

Amelia had been smiling, but at his words, her expression turned cold and distant. “Sorry, I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

“Why not?” Another guy stepped in and blocked her path. “Come on, beautiful. Just exchange phone numbers with us. We’re all from the same university, after all.”

Amelia was starting to get annoyed. Ever since what happened with Bradley, she just couldn’t bring herself to care about guys anymore.
