This song was Love Story, a love song–And now Cameron and Elijah were holding the microphones,

The music had already started. They held the microphones and looked at each other.
“Dijah, Cameron, sing” their classmates shouted.
Cameron thought. “It’s just a song. Not a big deal. Then she began in sing
“Wow! So good!”
Cameron’s deep, melodious voice caned the female vocals
Elijah stared at her in shock, anked by her singing, but more importantly, it felt so strange for two men to sing a love song
After Cameron finished her part, Elijah still stared at her blankly.
Cameron whispered, “Elijah, don’t you know this song?”
Elijah jolted back to reality. “…I know a little.”
Cameron gestured to let him go ahead.
Though awkward, Elijah finally started singing.
“Wow, Mr. Moore sings well too. They’re amazing–good grades, good looks, and now great singing?” a girl shrieked.
Cameron continued crooning the cheesy lyrics, while Elijah was completely dazed.
“Whoo!”
“Hahaha
“Mr. Moore, why are you so stiff?”
“Cameron’s amazing
After the first verse, Cameron smiled and handed her mic to a girl.
The girl was thrilled–singing with Elijah was an honor,
But Elijah also passed his mic to someone else.
Cameron sat on the sofa, aher a moment’s hesitation, Elijah sat beside her. She smiled and asked, “Why’d you stop?”
Elijah admitted, “It felt weird.”
It was a love song–two guys singing those sappy lyrics just felt odd.
Cameron smiled and took a sip of wine.
* Elijah did the same. “Cameron, you sing really well”
“You too,” she said.

“Cameron, come play di cel”
led:
“Coming? Cameron didn’t refuse they’d have fewer chances to meet after this, in the wanted to enjoy the night.
By the time Cameron and Elijah left the KTV, it was midnight. Everyone had been drinking.
Elijah asked, “You okay? You had a lot.”
“I hold my liquor,” Cameron said.
At the school gate, Cameron tried to bike back to the dorm, but Elijah stopped her. “Cameron, you’re drunk.“
“Fine.” Cameron pocketed her phone. “Wall back together?”
Elijah nodded.
At midnight, even the wind was silent. The two walked through the vast campus without speaking, just moving slowly forward.
Elijah looked down and noticed their steps were perfectly in sync. He smiled faintly
Cameron said, “Wonder if Xander and Austin are back.”
If the whole dorm returned at the same time, they’d have to fight over the bathroom.
“Not sure,” Elijah said.
When they reached the dorm, it was dark neither Austin nor Xander was there.
Cameron gestured to the bathroom. “Elijah, you go first. I take longer
“I’m not tired yet. You go,” he said,
Cameron had yawned nonstop on the way back, so Elijah wanted her to rest earlier.
With another yawn,
she said.
“Thanks.”
After showering Cameron went straight to bed. She thought Xander might wake her when he returned, but he never did.
Feeling awkward, Xander had avoided facing Cameron and gone back to Tiana’s faculty dorm instead.
And so,
F……
the last night of high school slipped by
The next day, Cameron packed to leave the dorm. She sold all her textbooks to a shop outside school for a few dollars. Her only luggage now was a handbag of clothes.
Elijah’s butler came to pick him up. “Let me give you a ride. Where are you heading?” he asked Cameron.
“Thanks, Elijah, but we’re not on the way. I’ll catch up with you later.” She hailed a taxi on the road.
Meanwhile, after over ten hours of flying, Bradley finally arrived in Fiora’s capital.
