Chapter 458
Eric shook his head and said, “Thanks, I’m good.” He never added sugar to his coffee.
So Cameron sat down, poured two packets of sugar into her coffee, and stirred gently with a spoon.
Bradley knew Cameron liked eating sweets, so he wasn’t surprised.
Eric was a bit taken aback, but he said nothing, lest Bradleys at him later.
Holding his coffee cup, Eric took a slow sips, then set it down and handed Cameron the contract on the coffee table, saying “Cameron, take a look at this?
Cameron said, “I can sign it directly.”
Eric smiled and said, “Trust me that nach, huh?”
Cameron smiled and said, “I trust Brad.” She figured if Bradley had checked the contract, it must be okay.
Eric narrowed his eyes, increasingly convinced he couldn’t let Bradley and Cameron grow closer.
“Oh, by the way,” Cameron had just picked up the pen when she remembered something important. “Eric, my ID is being rescued. I don’t have it right
Cameron had a temporary ID for the SAT, but it was in her dorm
Eric said, “No problem. You trust me, and I trust you. Just write your social security number”
Cameron said, “Are you sure?”
Eric nodded
Cameron said, “Okay, thanks.”
She flipped straight to the last page of the contract, signed her name and social security number, and pressed her thumbprint.
Eric had already signed his name before Cameron came downstairs.
He handed Cameron a copy of the contract and said, “Hope for a pleasant cooperation between us.
“Yeah.” Cameron took the contract
Eric looked at Bradley and said, “Brad, how about a celebration tonight!”
Tonight?” Bradley looked at him. “Didn’t you take time off just to come back? Don’t you need to get back to school?”
Eric said, “College isn’t that strict. I haven’t seen you in ages and want to catch up. How about we have a couple of drinks tonight?”
Bradley nodded and said, “Alright. What do you want to eat tonight? I’ll send someone to prepare the food.”
Eric said, “Just the four of us. Keep it casual, anything works.”
Bradley said, “You mean the three of us, right?”
Eric said, “Brad, what about Leanne?”
Bradley said,” sent her back to the car.”
Eric froze. So Leanne had been chased to the car by Bradley–he’d wondered why she’d stayed in the car instead of the spacious castle.
