Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3344

Gabe walked over to respectfully inform Audrey that lunch was ready. She then called for everyone to go ahead and eat. Sugar deliberately slowed her steps to walk beside Silver and then tugged on his sleeve. He matched her pace and the two fell behind the group.

“Master, have the two girls the Old Mister was looking for been found?”

Silver remarked, “Didn’t Hawk tell you? They’re not girls anymore. It’s been four or five decades. One of the two girls from back then is Mrs. Stone here, the Fishers’ previous matriarch Tiara Fisher’s oldest daughter, Audrey Fisher.

“The younger one is the eldest daughter-in-law of the Yorks, Serenity Hunt’s biological mother, Lisa Fisher, but she passed away in a car crash around a decade or so ago, leaving behind just Serenity and her sister, Liberty.”

Sugar replied, “Hawk didn’t tell me. And here I was still asking around everywhere to no avail. So it was Mrs. Stone. And Serenity’s mother was the previous matriarch’s daughter too? In that case, the Hunt sisters are technically Fishers.”

In the Fisher family, the position of the matriarch was passed down to daughters, not sons. Strictly speaking, both Serenity and Liberty, as well as Elisa, were candidates to succeed the position.

Silver said, “Strictly speaking, they already are candidates. Mrs. Stone and the rest knew of it a little earlier than we did and the current family head Belinda has even met them before.”

“Did Mrs. Stone not remember she was a Fisher?”

“She remembered her surname and that she was from a relatively well-off family, but she couldn’t remember where her home was. She was only eight then, too. After the incident, she fled with her sister and experienced many dangers and shocks, so it’s normal that she forgot a lot of things.”

Sugar sighed. “I didn’t expect Mrs. Stone and Serenity and the rest to be exactly who the Old Mister was looking for.”

Silver obviously did not believe her, but they stopped whispering once they entered the dining hall. Silver only texted Sugar to visit the Stones’ home because he knew his disciple was in Wiltspoon and they could finally meet. Just like how children left home once they were of age, their disciples left too once they were all grown up.

Silver had plenty of disciples all over the world. He only ever managed to see all of them on his birthday every year. Normally, he would not be able to see all of them even during Christmastime. Only those who lived a little closer and were not overly busy with their jobs would fly home to spend Christmas with him.

Those who lived far away and were busy with work, like Sugar, only came back to see him on his birthday every year. They would just give each other the occasional calls.

Each of their disciples was talented and Silver was very happy about this, but he did feel lonely now that they had all left the nest. Luckily, all his old friends lived nearby and came by frequently to gather and pass the time together. There was also Laurence, who was Doc’s grand-disciple and had naturally become theirs as well. They normally spent time putting him through all sorts of training.
