Serenity was elated to hear that her friend was living comfortably.

Elsewhere at the same time in Jensburg, Caroline’s car entered Queen Enterprise.

Fisher Enterprise had been wanting to collaborate with Queen Enterprise for a while now.

As the temporary head of Fisher Enterprise, Caroline often appeared at Queen Enterprise’s office and the employees were now used to seeing her around.

Hayden stopped working and stood up to walk around her desk as she beckoned Caroline over to have a seat.

The secretary who had led Caroline in made some tea and served it along with some snacks. Soon, the coffee table was crammed full of food.

In the past, Hayden’s office would have fruits at the ready for visitors, but would not have snacks and junk food.

However, ever since Kevin started pursuing Hayden, no one felt surprised at seeing anything appear in her office anymore.

Kevin gave Hayden all sorts of things. Initially, Hayden was angry and would throw them all away, but finally, she accepted it and allowed Kevin to do as he pleased.

Now, everyone had realized the truth.

For the past two days, Hugh’s female friends had been sneak-attacking him under the guise of by accident. They only believed that Hugh was a man when they felt for themselves that his chest was completely flat.

Hugh did not know whether to cry or laugh at this.

Hayden said calmly, “I’ve never cared about what people said about me. I am me. My life and what I do is my business. What does anyone else have to do with it? If I cared about what others said, would I even still have a life to live?

“No matter how well someone does, you’ll always have naysayers. If you cared about what others said about you, you wouldn’t be able to keep living, for real. You’d be really tired of living too.”

Caroline laughed. “That’s wise and quite carefree of you. We do only have a few decades of life—we should live for ourselves.”
