Serenity hummed in acknowledgment. She took one herself and said, “Let me try it. I didn’t buy the gingersnaps. Mr. Charles gave them. He said it’s his hometown’s specialty. Someone from his hometown visited and brought him the cookies, so he shared some with us.

“It does taste great.”

Serenity agreed with Jasmine after tasting the cookie.

It was extremely delicious and different from the usual gingersnaps they bought before. As expected of a local specialty.
