Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2768

Sonny was going to be a big brother, and he needed to learn to take care of his younger siblings or cousins.

“I’m not that fragile.”

Serenity smiled as she lifted her nephew. “You’re about three or four years old. How heavy can you be?”

Sonny was not chubby.

Clearly tired, the little one fell asleep within minutes of being cradled by Serenity.

After half an hour, two cars entered York Corporation.

Serenity had initially planned to call Zachary to give him a surprise later.

She informed him that she would fetch him from work in the evening and they would go home together for dinner. However, she decided to surprise him instead.

Showing up in his office unannounced would surely be a pleasant surprise.

As Jasmine had mentioned, creating surprises occasionally in a marriage could strengthen the bond.

Having read many novels, Jasmine was adept at creating romance and surprises, and Serenity had learned a thing or two from her.

“Missus, let me hold Sonny for you.”

A bodyguard wanted to take Sonny from Serenity’s arms.

“No need. I’ll hold him. You can wait downstairs. If you have any urgent matters to attend to, feel free to do so. We’ll leave when Zachary finishes work.”

She could also ride in her husband’s vehicle to go home.

The bodyguards respectfully replied, “We don’t have any other private matters to attend to. Protecting Missus is our top priority.”

Serenity did not say more. Accompanied by her security team, she entered the office building.

However sensible he was, he was still a three-year-old.

“Carry him into the lounge and let him sleep a bit more.”

Zachary nodded and off he went.

Serenity greeted Josh with a smile.

“Did Mr. Young-Johnson and family leave?”

Josh knew that Serenity did not come to work today because of Jane’s visit.

Anyway, the joint company among the three good friends was already on track. Even without them in the office, it would not affect the operation of the company.

Jasmine stayed in the bookstore almost every day, and basically looked after the store. That way, Josh could be at ease. If she were out and about, his family would still worry even if Josh was at ease.
