Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2564

Camryn did not make any more excuses.

She was only helping him manage his bank cards, not restricting his spending, and she had no need to use his money.

Callum pecked her on the cheek and then looked at her with a smile.

The more he looked, the more he liked what he saw.

“Why do you keep looking at me and smiling?”

“I’m happy, Camryn. I’m so happy. I can’t help but smile.”

He broke into another chuckle as he spoke.

Camryn found herself laughing at his antics.

After a while of affectionate exchange, they checked the time. Estimating that Rosella should be there soon, Callum said, “Camryn, my mom should be arriving at City Hall soon. Let’s get going. She should be there by the time we arrive.”

Callum also had to stop by a flower shop to buy a bouquet of roses.

Camryn had suggested registering for their marriage all of a sudden, so he was not fully prepared but there was still time to make it special.

From the flowers to the engagement ring, nothing should be lacking.

This was the woman he intended to cherish for a lifetime, and he would not skimp on anything for her.

“Alright.”

As Callum rose and extended his hand toward her, Camryn placed her hand trustingly in his large palm, letting him help her up.

Hand in hand, they headed toward the door together, prepared to face a lifetime of companionship.

She suddenly felt slightly apologetic. Her sudden suggestion to sign the marriage papers caught Callum off guard, which led to him asking his parents to deliver the household registration permit.

As Camryn got out of her car, she was holding a bouquet of roses that Callum got when they were en route to City Hall.

It was beautiful, vibrant, and eye-catching.

She had always been infatuated with flowers. That was the reason she opened a florist.

“Mom, Dad, I apologize for the sudden decision that brought you all the way here.”

Camryn apologized to her parents-in-law as soon as she exited her car.

Rosella held her hand and said with a smile, “Camryn, this sudden decision of yours is what we’ve been waiting for! How could we blame you? In fact, we’re very happy for you, and I’m more than willing to make this trip.”
