Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2418

“Mr. Queen.”

Quinn came to know from Julian that Hayden was the President of Queen Enterprise in Jensburg.

Hayden was Kevin’s rumored boyfriend.

Quinn was surprised that Kevin was gay.

Besides, she was surprised that the Yorks were open-minded about Kevin’s sexual orientation, and the family did not even try to break them apart.

Nevertheless, Quinn had to admit that Hayden was a hunk. A man of power and wealth like Kevin must have seen it all. Perhaps Hayden's aloofness was what attracted him in the first place.

Quinn studied Hayden for a while, debating in her mind the reason Kevin would fall in love with Hayden.

“Ms. Crawford.”

Hayden was older and wiser than Quinn, having dabbled in the business world for years. She quickly picked up what was going on in Quinn’s mind.

She did not try to explain anything, though.

Hayden was there to attend Zachary’s wedding as the President of Queen Enterprise, not as Kevin’s girlfriend. She was representing her family.

Besides, Hayden was not keen on wearing women’s attire.

In fact, Quinn was not the only person giving her the strange look. Everybody else, except the Yorks, was curious how Hayden managed to win Kevin’s heart.

“Are you alone, Mr. Queen?”

The couple who was getting married today was another example. Other wealthy and powerful families would not allow their sons to marry an orphan.

In fact, well-off families would prefer their children to marry within their social class for the sake of business.

Hayden looked around the place and said, “Wildridge Manor lives up to its name. It’s late fall now. I heard the scenery is to die for when it’s spring.

“There’s a huge pond in the manor, and we can enjoy the view of the pond in spring. I’ve only heard about it. I haven’t had the chance to visit the pond.”

Quinn said with a smile, “You can enjoy the view during spring next year.”

Hayden could visit and enjoy the scenery as Kevin’s boyfriend.
