Antonia looked at Elisa lovingly and said with a smile, “I’m happy to have you and Jane as my daughters.”

Elisa felt shy. Even though she had not married Remy, Remy was the only one for her.

Everybody burst into laughter.

Soon, Remy arrived at Liberty’s place. His beloved woman and women he respected were there, so he did not want to miss out on the fun too.

Hearing that Remy had arrived, Elisa mumbled, “Why is he here when he’s supposed to be at work?”

Remy must have skipped work again.

Jane smiled and teased her, “Remy can't focus on his work since you're away with Serenity. His mind and heart are with you, even when he’s in the office. He might as well join you before he gets even more distracted.”

“You’re making fun of me again, Jane.”

Serenity said with a grin, “I’m close enough with Remy, so it’s fine if I don’t open the door for him. Elisa, you should go.”

Elisa stood up. “I’m your cousin. I should attend to the guests for you.”

It was clear that Elisa was eager to see Remy, but she had to make up a lame excuse to mask her intention. Her excuse made everyone laugh.

The little ones joined in the laughter even though they had no idea what was going on. The adults’ attention was drawn into their adorable chuckles and they continued to coo them.

Elisa walked out of the main house and saw Remy getting out of the car. Remy held a large bouquet of flowers in hand.

In other branch offices, important matters had to be reported to the headquarters for approval before proceeding. However, the Wiltspoon branch office was exempted. Remy had the authority to make all decisions.

It was Ben’s recognition of Remy’s capabilities.

The senior family members supported Remy to be the successor of FC & Co. It went without saying that Remy was highly capable. Nevertheless, Remy was not up for the responsibility and left Ben to take over the family business as well as the Youngs’ empire.

“I know you’re with Serenity. My mom and Jane are here too, so I thought I’d just come straight to you.”

Remy gave the flowers to Elisa. His eyes were tender.

He said lovingly, “These are for you, Elisa. I hope that your life will always be filled with sunshine and roses.”
