“Frankly speaking, even I want to hire you as my bodyguard. I’m short-staffed right now. With your skills, I believe you’ll be able to single-handedly ensure my safety.”
Quinn said with a smile, “Don’t mention it, Mr. Bucham.”
Julian did not have to call her his benefactor.
He was the most polite person among all the people she had helped before.
As expected of a CEO, he had good manners.
Quinn could sense that Julian was a person who knew how to express gratitude. The heavens would bless someone like him.
She believed his business would improve.
“If I were to get tired of my job one day, please give me a job as a bodyguard, Mr. Bucham. I can be a security guard too. I won’t be picky about the job as long as I can earn money through my efforts. I can accept any job that’s legal and doesn’t involve stealing or robbing.”
Quinn knew she had no other specialties aside from martial arts. Therefore, she was fine with any job as long as she could get one.
Anyone could become an expert in a certain field if they worked hard.
Julian said, “I’ll leave a spot open for you. Just contact me whenever you want to come over to work as my bodyguard, Ms. Crawford. You can ask for any amount of salary or incentives you want.”
“Okay. I’ll definitely do that when I want to switch jobs. I won’t hesitate.”
They chatted all the way.
Julian thought the journey was too short when they arrived at Wiltspoon Hotel.
He should have made a turn and delayed the journey. That way, he could have talked to Quinn longer.
However, he knew it would not be appropriate to do so as it was their first meeting, and Quinn had just “rescued” him. It would ruin her good impression of him too.
The car stopped in front of Wiltspoon Hotel’s main entrance. Julian turned to look at Quinn. She was a bright and charming woman. The more he looked at her, the more he liked her beauty and boldness.
Even her side profile was stunning. Julian was already mesmerized by her photo and even secretly kissed it, let alone seeing her in person.
“No problem. How many students are you chaperoning for the competition? I’ll prepare a gift for them.”
“You don’t have to do that.
“There are twelve students with me. Six boys and six girls. They’re the best students I have.”
Although Quinn told Julian that he did not have to get presents ready for the children, she still informed him how many anyway. She thought that if Julian wanted to gift the children something, it would be up to them to accept it or not. As their coach, she could not refuse his kind gesture on their behalf.
She only tried to dissuade him out of politeness.
Julian took a mental note of the number of children.
“You should return home soon, Mr. Bucham. I’m going to rest as well.”
“Good night, Ms. Crawford. See you tomorrow.”
