Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2236

Serenity asked Liberty multiple times whether she was short of cash after putting her money into All You Can Eat. Liberty was supposed to let Serenity know if her bank account was drained.

Liberty poured her profits back into the restaurant chain and kept some as savings.

Nevertheless, Liberty did not run out of funds.

She did not need financial assistance from her sister.

Serenity and Zachary knew Liberty well and held back from giving Liberty handouts. Liberty would not accept the cash even if they gave it to her anyway. The opening of a new restaurant gave them a good excuse to stuff money to Liberty.

Hence, the couple slipped money inside the cards and gave them to Liberty individually.

“It’s time to cut the ribbon.”

“Okay.”

Liberty stood front and center of the ribbon since she was the owner. She shared a moment with her parents in her mind. ‘Mom, Dad, I opened another restaurant. I hope you will look over me and my business from Heaven. Please watch over me as I grow stronger and be Seren’s protector.’

If only their parents were still alive.

Their parents must be happy to see Liberty and Serenity finding success in their careers and living a better life.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, customers came on-site to offer their congratulations. There were also a lot of customers there to try out the food. The restaurant was buzzing with activities and high spirits.

“Liberty, Liberty.”

Chelsea’s voice came from outside.

Liberty’s ex-sister-in-law always made a big entrance, as if she was trying to impress people that she knew the lady boss of All You Can Eat.

Chelsea entered the restaurant with her husband.

“Chelsea.”

Regardless of their past, Liberty was going to remain courteous to Chelsea since it was a good day for her today.

“I hope we weren’t late, Liberty.”

Chelsea said, “Liberty, we ordered a flower basket for you. We don’t have a place for it since there’s a lot outside. We left the flower basket outside for now.”

Liberty said with a smile, “Thank you, Chelsea. You didn’t have to. I’ll get someone out there to find a spot for it.”

She beckoned a server over. Once the server drew close, she tenderly uttered, “Chelsea gave us flowers to wish us good business. Can you go out and put it on display.”

“Sure, Ms. Hunt,” the server gleefully responded.

Chelsea hesitated for a moment before taking out a card from her parents. She had checked the card, and her parents slipped five thousand bucks inside.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown footed the hospital bill for Hank’s hospitalization.

Yet now, they gave Liberty a lot of money.

Chelsea was curious as to how much her parents had saved up as she had no clue.

She had always thought that her parents spent all their money on her family. It was only now she realized her parents had saved some for themselves.
