Lara dashed towards Seth.

“I don't usually get drunk easily, but not necessarily today. After all, I might not get drunk from the wine, but the company, right?” Seth gazed at the woman affectionately when he said so.

“You’re such a bad boy.” The woman’s voice softened.

“Ms. Quinton, stop that nonsense of yours. Everyone knows that you’re totally not my type,” Seth said calmly.

Lara did not panic. She continued with a furious expression: “If you don’t like me, then why would you lie to me? Seth Leeds, you’re really a heartless assh*le.”

As soon as she finished her sentence, tear droplets started to roll out of Lara’s eye sockets—it was pitiful to look at.

At that moment, everyone’s expression became even more contemptuous.

“Scumbag.” That woman stood up and gave Seth a ferocious glare. She then turned around and left.
