Half a day later, James arrived at Mount Tai.

Retracing his steps, he headed to the ravine where the Chamber of Scriptures was located. He dived into the water, entered the underground cave, and arrived outside the Chamber of Scriptures. He pushed open the stone door and entered the tower’s first floor.

The first floor was empty.

James shouted while looking around, “Ms. Custodian! Are you there, Ms. Custodian? It’s James. I need to speak with you.”

She casually waved her hand, and strong True Energy flowed from her sleeves, engulfing James.

James felt his vision go blurry as they vanished from the spot.

Thea burst out laughing.

“It’s a pretty good deal for you. Why did you come looking for me? Hurry up and accept her proposal. If anything happens to Winnie, I won’t forgive you.”

Thea pushed James, urging him to leave.

“Wait, Thea…”

James stopped and asked sincerely, “I couldn’t come up with any proper plans, so I came to discuss it with you.”

Thea replied earnestly, “Go ahead and marry them. I mean… It’s fine as long as our child is safe. Plus, I’m going to stay here for a long time. It might take longer than eight to ten years. How can you spend all that time alone? If anything, I’m relieved there are three of them accompanying you.”
