Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 538

Alicia's residence.

Micah pulled up to the curb, safely dropping Alicia off.

"Thank you," Alicia said, reaching for the door handle.

"Annie..." Micah called out softly. He paused for a moment before continuing. "Given your current situation, what you really need is a strategic marriage to secure your position. I heard Clayton made it clear he won't marry you. If... you're open to the idea, you could consider me. I swear I'll never hurt you, and I will never lie to you."

He looked at her with pure, unmasked sincerity.

Alicia's position at White Corporation was precarious. She desperately needed a powerful ally to anchor her authority.

By openly refusing the match, Clayton had completely disregarded Patriarch Reginald White's dying wish, making it abundantly clear that he was not an option.

With Tyrone gone, half the elite circle was looking for a way to propose a strategic marriage to her.

Her only real choices narrowed down to him, Vincent, or Connor.

If she had to pick someone for a marriage of convenience, he desperately hoped it would be him.

Alicia's hand hovered over the door handle. She stepped out of the car, looking back at him. "I'll think about it."

She didn't reject him outright. In her current position, every word she said to Micah was likely being relayed straight to the Gentleman.

Her situation was incredibly fragile. A strategic marriage was the perfect move—low risk, massive reward, and it provided a powerful shield.

As long as she wasn't a fool, she knew she needed to leverage this opportunity and play the game.

"Let me know whenever you've made your decision," Micah smiled gently before driving off into the night.

Alicia stood in the driveway for a long time.

So many years had passed. They had both changed beyond recognition.

Pulling him toward the bedroom, she giggled and leaned in close. "Honey... everybody thinks I'm a walking curse right now. It's actually pretty hard to marry me off."

Refusing to be appeased, Tyrone scooped her into his arms, carrying her straight toward the bathroom.

"You're still thinking about marrying someone else?" Tyrone growled playfully, pinning her against the cool tile wall and kissing her with a desperate, jealous hunger.

Alicia laughed against his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck. "I only said that so you wouldn't worry."

"When are we bringing the baby back?" Tyrone murmured softly. He missed his wife, but he missed their child too.

Alicia shook her head. "The baby is much safer in Harboridge City. With Winnie watching over things, I can actually sleep at night. The real war is here in Seaview City."

"Yeah. Chester is a rock. He might be getting older, but he's tough as nails. With him there, the baby is entirely safe," Tyrone said, gently stroking her hair.

Because he refused to take any risks, Tyrone had pulled Chester away from running the dessert shop and officially reinstated him as the head butler for the White family.
