"Micah has already taken over Lynch Corporation, and he was definitely sent by 'the master.' Getting close to him was part of my plan all along," Alicia said, stealing a glance at Tyrone.

She knew he would never agree, which was why she'd decided to give him a heads-up.

"I don't agree!" Tyrone said sternly.

"It's just to get to know him. I'm not actually going to seduce him," Alicia said, shaking Tyrone's arm gently.

"No. You are not to have any contact with him until I've thoroughly investigated him," Tyrone refused again.

"What if he contacts me first?" Alicia asked with a sheepish smile.

Tyrone narrowed his eyes, staring at her. "Heh, Alicia, playing games with me now, are we? Has Micah already contacted you?"

Something was definitely off. For Micah to initiate contact and introduce himself to Alicia was a huge red flag.

It suggested that taking over Lynch Corporation was just a cover. His real target was probably Alicia.

"Micah must have known about my meeting with Natalia. He showed up right after she left," Alicia shrugged.

At the restaurant, Natalia's every move had likely been monitored by the master.

After Natalia left, Micah had sat down across from Alicia.

A memory was trying to surface in her mind, but it seemed to have faded with time.

"Forget him. Stay away from him." Alarm bells were ringing in Tyrone's head.

He could guess the chilling implication behind the hair clip, but he didn't dare mention it. He didn't want Alicia to remember anything.
