Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 404

Stephen Lawson’s face was like thunder as he shoved Vincent Lawson forward. “What are you waiting for? Go after him! Do whatever it takes—he cannot leave!”

Vincent gave a quick nod and hurried into the elevator.

Upstairs, Stephen paced in a panic, barely making it into his office before dialing a number with trembling hands.

“Sir, I just need a little more time…”

On the other end, a man’s voice was low and steely, radiating a suffocating authority. “I haven’t touched Tyrone Lynch. Do you think I’m playing games with you?”

Stephen wiped the sweat from his brow, stammering, “It’s my fault, sir. I haven’t handled things well, but if you give me a bit more time, I’ll find a way to get all of Tyrone’s money from him—legitimately.”

“For the Lynch family fortune to end up in our hands, you need to move faster. Finish what you started.”

Stephen understood all too well: his orders were to drain Tyrone’s assets, and when Tyrone was no longer useful, to eliminate him. Only then would Alicia and the child be safe from harm.

But Stephen hesitated, unwilling to hand over full control to Vincent. His own greed and fear kept him from completing the job.

It was obvious—Stephen was terrified of the man behind the scenes. Whoever he was, he had the power to make someone as influential as Stephen utterly submissive.

Downstairs, outside Lawson & Co., Vincent walked alongside Tyrone.

Tyrone nodded, about to leave, when Natalia entered the lobby.

“Tyrone!” Natalia called out brightly, jogging over with a familiar, affectionate smile. “Can we talk for a minute?”

Tyrone glanced at her, his own smile polite but distant. “Is something urgent?”

Vincent gave Tyrone a knowing look and headed back upstairs.

Natalia leaned closer, her tone soft and coaxing—so different from the cool front she put on with Alicia. “Tyrone, you inherited the entire Lynch family estate, and Easton only got a portion of the company shares. He’s not even working at Lynch Corporation, so he doesn’t have a salary, and it’s not time for dividends yet… He’s really struggling, you know. He’s been forced to live in a hotel. Couldn’t you, for the sake of your brother, let him have the cottage back?”

Tyrone let out a short laugh. “He’s living in the penthouse suite at Lynch Corporation—thirty grand a week. You call that struggling?” He shook his head. “Natalia, I know my grandfather groomed you to look after him, but you’re spoiling him rotten.”
