Rich Radiant and Over Him (Alicia and Vincent) novel Chapter 382

At an upscale restaurant, Alicia practically skipped after Tyrone, letting him lead her into a private dining room.

The room was beautiful, with a perfect view of the riverfront.

“I heard you have to book this place months in advance,” Alicia whispered to Tyrone. “Winnie’s been trying to snag a table here for ages just to take photos, but she never managed to get a reservation.”

Tyrone arched an eyebrow and glanced over at Clayton. “You should’ve just asked Mr. Clayton. He owns the place.”

Clayton shot Tyrone a look so cold it could freeze water. Was Tyrone planning to tie Alicia to his hip at all times? Was that really necessary?

“Wait, what?” Alicia looked genuinely surprised. This restaurant was all over social media, and it turned out Clayton owned it?

“As if Mr. Lynch doesn’t have shares in it,” Clayton scoffed. He was the one paying for dinner tonight—how generous of him.

“Alicia, order whatever you’d like,” Clayton said, turning on the charm.

Alicia glanced at her phone. “Let’s wait a bit longer—Winnie and Easton aren’t here yet.”

Clayton’s smile faltered for a split second. Why was that little wolf cub coming?

“Wow! I’ve always wanted to take pictures here!” Winnie burst in with Easton, her eyes lighting up at the Instagram-famous spot by the window.

“Oh, we’re definitely taking a bunch of photos tonight,” Winnie said, hurrying over to the glass. “All the girls in our circle come here just to snap pics. Easton, you know how to take pictures, right? Come help me out!”

Easton let out a nervous “uh, sure,” and shuffled over. He’d never taken photos for a girl before, so he wasn’t exactly experienced, but Winnie was photogenic—every shot looked great.

“Dig in, everyone,” Tyrone said with a grin. “Mr. Clayton’s treating us tonight!”

In Tyrone’s eyes, Alicia only needed to be herself.

“She’s Alicia White. That’s not something you can change,” Clayton replied. “With that last name, she can’t stay soft forever. You can’t shield her from everything. How long do you think you can keep it up? What if something happens to you? Do you think life will always go your way? We don’t even know who’s pulling strings in the background. If you fall, she falls with you.”

Clayton’s perspective was clear—Alicia needed to grow. She couldn’t remain innocent and unprepared forever.

She had to become resilient, able to weather any storm, to stand on her own two feet.

Because someday… Tyrone might not be there.

Tyrone fell silent, saying nothing.

“Alicia has so much potential. She grew up in an orphanage, was adopted and returned more than once. All that left her sensitive, fragile—always trying to please everyone. It’s not the kind of personality that’ll help her in the future,” Clayton continued, thinking about Alicia as the future heir to the White Corporation.
