"Are you two here to annoy me?"
The herbs were supposed to dry out, but now they were in the water and essentially ruined.
Brandon loved these herbs so much. Now they fell into the water. He was going crazy with frustration.
"Dr. Glass, let me help you!"
Brandon was about to refuse her offer, when Sophia took action and accidentally dropped something important on the ground.
These herbs had been mixed with sand on the ground; picking them out would be difficult work.
Pointing at her angrily, Brandon said, "You! Get out of here!"
Sophia felt apologetic as she said, "Dr. Glass, I just wanted to help you out. Yet my hand slipped. I really didn't mean it."
"You go! Leave! I don't want to see you for even one more minute," Brandon replied in exasperation.
Sophia looked around at other places and offered, "Tell me what else can I do for you? Your yard seems like it hasn't been cleaned up for a long time."
As she spoke, she went to fetch a broom, ready to clean up the yard.
Brandon shouted at her, yet Sophia turned a deaf ear.
Emmie laughed on one side. She had never seen her father being so helpless.
"That's enough! Stop it and I will treat your husband." Brandon finally gave in.
Sophia stopped what she was doing and looked towards him, asking seriously, "Dr. Glass, are you telling me truthfully or are you trying to deceive me?"
Brandon put on a stern face, saying, "I can promise you but there are conditions."
It was already good enough that he promised to save Drake; Sophia put down what she held in her hands and said earnestly,"Okay, whatever it is, I'll do it."
"Don't promise me so soon. What I need may be beyond your capabilities," warned Brandon.
"As long as you tell me, I will do anything."
Brandon looked at her with contempt, "Really? I want you to divorce your husband and my daughter to marry him!"
Sophia was stunned!
Paul said, "No, if it was Mr. Riley, he would rather die than agree to it."
Emmie looked at Brandon in disbelief and asked, "Dad, what are you doing?"
"Shut up! Just listen!"
"But..."
Emmie wanted to say something more, but Brandon gave her a glare and told her not to speak.
Sophia was really stunned, she never thought that he would make such a request, this request was simply the most difficult for her to satisfy.
Brandon glanced at her. "Can you do that?"
From the moment they got married, Sophia never thought about breaking up with him.
"Okay, then you go with me, I'll handle it now."
Emmie was still crying. Her father who had always been good to her was so annoying today.
Paul followed Sophia, and said sadly, "Mrs. Riley, if you really do this, when Mr. Riley wakes up, he will be very angry, maybe he will commit suicide."
"I have to divorce him anyway, Paul, tell me, don't you want him to be saved?"
The answer was beyond doubt.
"But is there no other way?"
Sophia smiled and said, "It doesn't matter what the solution is. The important thing is that Drake can get better. Paul, why don't you think about it yourself? If Aria needs to be saved, what would you do?"
Undoubtedly, Paul's choice would be the same as Sophia's.
Emmie shouted, "Dad, even if you ask me to marry Drake, I don't want to!"
"Shut up, if you keep talking, I won't treat him!" Brandon yelled angrily.
Emmie opened her mouth, but couldn't say anything.
Sophia walked up to Emmie and patted her on the shoulder. "It's okay, don't worry about me, and, Dr. Glass, I promised you, can I go now?"
They had no time to waste, if the doctor couldn't arrive at the hospital timely, all her efforts would be in vain.
Brandon looked at her suspiciously. "Are you sure you really want to do this?"
