“I’m the one handling all this. Don’t worry. The new chief of police in this police station is my good friend. He will help sort everything out for you.

“He’s already deleted all conversation history between you and those men. Apart from that, those criminals have also agreed to accuse Catherine in return for a lighter sentence,” Logan said.

“Don’t worry. Dealing with normal people like Catherine Batton is a piece of cake,” Logan added confidently.

Mary smiled yet again. “All’s good then.”

It might have been challenging to deal with the rich and influential but dealing with an ordinary person like Catherine was perhaps even easier than killing an ant.
