Xyla laughed. “Don’t worry, I won’t lose.”

Frederick shook his head again before looking deeply at Mary nearby. “It isn't nice to force people into a corner sometimes. Women should be more considerate.”

“Who’s forcing anyone into a corner?” Mary sneered unhappily.

Frederick felt weary to reason with her. So, he shifted his gaze to Xyla’s face, preferring to continue to share various knowledge about their earlier topic.

Right then, he felt concerned about Xyla. He knew with certainty that she would lose.
