Chapter 93 Freeloader
Levi had trained in Calderian boxing while abroad, so if he were to go head–to–head with Eric, it was hard to say who would come out
“Alright, you two. Cut it out. If you two don’t stop, I’m out of here
Upon hearing what I said, the palpable tension that had been building between them began to dissipate.
Eric calmly smoothest out his sleeves and said, “You can rest assured, Lie. Have no intention of arguing with someone like him.”
After saying that, Eric turned and walked away.
Levi remained displeased as he asked, “How did you even meet someone like him, Jane? It seems like he’s already quite familiar with this place You two aren’t actually together, are you?”
Frubbed my forehead in exasperation at Levi’s question. There was so much going on between Eric and me that I couldn’t possibly explain everything to Levi
“You’re overthinking it. Come on, let’s unpack your things. It’s already getting late, and we need to head to bed early since I’m taking you to the studio tomorrow.”
It was only then that Levi finally came around and continued unpacking
The following morning, Eric came by for breakfast as he always did and ended up crossing paths with Levi.
Levi’s eyes widened in shock as he exclaimed, “How did he get in here, Jane? Did you give him the passcode to your place?”
I cleared my throat, intending to explain it to him, but Eric suddenly cut in with a faintly amused expression, “Your so–called senior= junior relationship doesn’t seem like much, Jae and I almost got married at one point. I guess she didn’t tell you that, huh?”
After breakfast, Eric unexpectedly offered to wash the dishes. As he cleared the table, he cast a disdainful glance at Levi and said, “I guess some people can live off Jae’s kindness without showing any gratitude. Is this how a senior–junior relationship works? He seems
more like a freeloader to me.”
Levi, unable to tolerate Eric’s provocation, snatched the dishes from his hands. He gritted his teeth and snarled, “I’ll do the dishes! And as for you, I want you to get out of here right now!”
Eric simply shrugged, feigning innocence.
I looked at Eric in exasperation as Levi walked into the kitchen. “Why do you insist on provoking him every chance you get?
Eric sighed faintly and looked at me with feigned grievance. “I simply can’t stand him. And with him always sticking around, I barely get a chance to have a proper conversation with you.”
