Chapter 87 Jared Is Arrested

Eric glanced at Jared. “Do you have anything else to say for yourself, Mr. Ladley?”

Jared was already so frightened by the video that he had lost all courage. He trembled and collapsed to his knees.

“The video is take, Mr. Flint,” he said weakly. “I definitely didn’t steal Mr. Sinclair’s core technology! The technology I presented to my new company was personally designed and developed by me and has nothing to do with him!”

I couldn’t help but sneer at him, “If you really did develop it on your own, why do you look so guilty? Actually, it doesn’t matter whether or not you admit to it now. “As for those game investors I mentioned, they aren’t actually present at this event. I simply had my inen bring Zachary to meet them. As for whether or not he’ll be able to win their favor, that depends on his own capabilities.

“But I must say that the person you’ve shown favor for certainly has some backbone. He’s capable of prioritizing righteousness above personal feelings and even declared that he would take care of Jared Ladley’s family in his stead, which is enough to prove that he’s a man of honor.”
