Before Sophie could finish her sentence, a piercing sound of electricity accompanied by a violent crash came through the phone.
Sophie immediately felt a sense of foreboding and quickly said to Colby, "Colby, let's go! Something's happened to Adler!"
Harold quickly organized a search for Adler, and Sophie and Colby left the Aldridge Estate without delay, fearing any wasted time.
It was clear from the phone call that Adler had been in a car accident.
Colby quickly located Adler's position, and an ambulance was swiftly dispatched.
"Colby, don't worry, the ambulance is already on its way," Sophie said, watching Colby speed along, growing more worried by the minute.
If this had been just a regular car accident, it would have been one thing, but if The Silent Shadows had done this intentionally...
Why would Wesley go to such lengths against his own son?
Both Sophie and Colby's parents had died in car accidents.
Sophie couldn't bear to think of the impact on Colby if Adler had also been in an accident.
"Quick, get him out!"
Black smoke billowed in the middle of the road at the scene of the accident, and Sophie felt a bad premonition. They quickly got out of the car only to see that Harold's men had already put Adler in the ambulance.
"How is he? Is it serious?"
Sophie ran up to Harold to ask about the situation on the scene.
Harold replied, "He's not badly injured. I've looked over the scene. It was just a simple car accident, with Adler speeding and mainly at fault."
It was a relief to Sophie that it was just a minor accident and Adler wasn't seriously hurt.
"What about Jenna..."
Sophie acknowledged and then she and Colby got into the car, speeding towards the Tredgold family's residence.
"Colby, could it be Wesley?"
Sophie was uneasy. She knew Jenna's abilities; an ordinary person couldn't possibly take her away.
Especially from the Tredgold family, without Adler noticing.
"We're not sure yet. We'll have to go to the Tredgold family's place to find out."
Colby's gaze grew somber.
Jenna was always vigilant. If someone managed to take her away without a trace, it must be because Jenna had no guard up against them.
Soon, Sophie and Colby's car pulled up at the grand entrance of the Tredgold family's residence.
