Tolu opens her eyes and finds herself tied down on a tiny bed, she looks around and sees nothing else except a door, Fai'zah gently walks in and stares at Tolu in a very creepy way.

"Where's Papa?" Fai'zah says softly, Tolu doesn't know what to say.

"Where I'm I? What's going on?" Tolu says as her voice breaks down.

"Don't you lie to me lady, don't make me hurt you." Fai'zah says, her eyes were boiling with rage.

"I don't know where he is, I have no idea." Tolu cries out.

"I see you're injured, let's play the mental game." Fai'zah says in a menacing way, she moves closer to Tolu's ear and whispers a incantation in her ear, Tolu suddenly stops moving and is in a trance. Fai'zah walks out of the room and meets up with Oloogun and Odi who had been watching everything that has been going on.

"Did she confess?" Oloogun asked.

"No, she left me with no other option than the parasite spell." Fai'zah says.

"The parasite spell? Really?" Oloogun says, he knew that particular spell was dangerous.

"Yes, the parasite spell will get the truth for us." Fai'zah talks boldly.

"And if she isn't lying?." Oloogun asked.

"Then let's hope she can mentally fight it, the gods are angry with us because of your foolish mistake don't try and tell me what to do when you put us in this mess." Fai'zah says firmly and walks out.

"Ouch." Odi says, squeezes his face and follows Fai'zah.

Tolu finds herself in a room filled with knives.

"Fuck." She says and sighs heavily, a version of herself wearing a police uniform suddenly appears in front of her.

"Tolu, it's nice to see me." The duplicate says in a sarcastic manner.

"Who are you?" Tolu says, she tries to pick up one of the knives laying on the ground but as she touches it all the knives fade away.

"I'm a parasite, I have one job which is to find something important in your memories but you're pretty messed up yourself Tolu." the Parasite says and laughs manically.

They suddenly find themselves in Balogun's house. Tolu walks in after graduating from Police academy, exicted to tell her father the good news.

"Dad!" Tolu says and rushes inside, she drops all her bags as she gets inside. She sees a man wearing a black mask holding her dad neck from behind.

"What is going on dad? Please let him go." Tolu pleads as tears drop from her eyes.

"Get out of here dear." Balogun says as he sweats and get scared.

"Please....... Don't..... Hurt him." Tolu gently moves closer to them, immediately the man brings out a knife and stabs Balogun from behind continuously.

"No!" Tolu yells and runs toward them but the man suddenly vanishes into thin air, everywhere suddenly stops moving.

"Such trauma at a very young age, what happened after that Tolu?" The Parasite says, Tolu and her have both been watching this memory.

"I was there just watching, thinking of what I could do................ The blood kept on gushing out and I called the ambulance sadly our house was quite far from other places, I lost my father." Tolu's voice shakens and drops of tears roll from her eyes.

"What do you mean? I've worked harder more than anyone in this station, most of the people here are assholes." Tolu says.

"This world is a brutal place." Dayo says softly.

Timi walks out of the DPO office exicted.

"What happened in there Timi?" Deji asked.

"Both of you should not tell anyone but I just got a hint from the boss that I'm getting the promotion." Timi whispers.

"You?!" Tolu yells.

"Geez." Timi says and steps back a bit.

"You've done nothing compared to me, all you do is wander around with your ugly ass friend and go do rubbish with the authority both of you have." Tolu swiftly says and runs to her office, she sits on her chair and tears roll down from her eyes. She picks up a photo of her dad laying on her desk.

"I'm trying dad, I'm really trying." Tolu says as her voice shakens.

"This is another proof that you're only doing this for daddy." The Parasite moves closer to Tolu.

"I'm not doing this for my dad." Tolu says and turns around.

"Listen to yourself! Even I'm concerned, you're trying to impress a man that isn't even alive, your father isn't some kind of god." The parasite says, she got really interested with Tolu's life.

"You don't know me." Tolu says firmly.
