"You're asking for it!" Immediately, Mitchell lost his temper, releasing a surge of terrifying murderous intent.
The fact that Sebastian was Lillian's ex-husband bothered him the most right now; it made him uncomfortable, like a bone was stuck in his throat.
Alas, Sebastian showed off to him with this, and he was so mad that he could burst in anger.
Hurriedly, Lillian advised Sebastian, "Ignore him and don't set a duel with him."
It was clear that she also didn't think that Sebastian would be strong enough to challenge Mitchell three years later.
However, Sebastian showed no fear and looked at Mitchell, asking, "My only question is… is this good enough?"
Taking a deep breath, Mitchell suppressed his anger. "Fine. I'll let you live three more years. Three years later, I'll be waiting for you in the capital city.
"If you chicken out at that time, I'll kill every single person who's related to you."
The middle-aged man wasn't bothered by this matter. Turning to Lillian, he said, "Ms. Alpin, Mr. and Mrs. Alpin have been searching for you for more than 20 years. Your mother has even become depressed from missing you. Come back with us now."
"This matter is too sudden for me. Also, how can I be sure that all of you aren't working together to lie to me?" Lillian asked doubtfully.
Being the impatient man that he was, Mitchell interjected right away, "Ms. Alpin, the situation is already crystal clear. The Mystic Night Pearl cannot be wrong."
"Even if this is true, I cannot accept it right away. I need time to sort out my thoughts," said Lillian.
"Ms. Alpin, are you unwilling to part with Wilder?" Once again, Mitchell turned to Sebastian with a murderous look in his eyes.
Lillian was taken aback and furious. "I told you that I need time to sort out my mind. Why are you forcing me?"
Mitchell said coldly, "I get it now. You just can't bear to part with Wilder. Since that's the case, I'll kill him right now." After the words left his lips, he was about to make a move again.
"No!" Anxiously, Lillian threw her arms wide. "I'll leave with you."
"Lillian." Sebastian stared at her, his eyes filled with reproach. He hated himself for being useless, saving his skin through a woman.
Clenching his fists tightly, he silently vowed that he would work hard to increase his cultivation and never let something similar happen again.
