Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 956

Sebastian was startled, and he instinctively stepped back. However, he quickly realized that the skeleton had merely shifted due to the vibration. It was nothing more than a false alarm.

He picked up the box and inspected it, noticing that it was sealed with a level four magical seal. However, this posed no real challenge for him.

He soon devised a solution. He used his own blood along with a specialized formation drawing.

As he applied the method, a flash of light flickered across the box, and the magical seal vanished.

In truth, even without his blood, his mastery of formations would have allowed him to break the seal. It would just have taken more time.

His blood, infused with active and passive energies, possessed unique properties that facilitated the dissolution of magical seals.

Beyond that, his blood also had remarkable effects during pill refinement and weapon crafting. Even a single drop of it could significantly enhance the quality of the final product.

This ability had been an accidental discovery, one unknown even to Lazarus.

When Sebastian opened the box, he found an opal resting inside.

"It's an opal slip!" Faylin exclaimed, visibly surprised.

"What's an opal slip?" Sebastian asked.

Faylin explained, "An opal slip is a medium used to store valuable information. It's often used to record cultivation techniques or special skills.

"Because opal slips are so rare, whatever is stored inside is usually extraordinary. You can use spiritual sense to access the information within."

After listening to her explanation, Sebastian finally understood. It was somewhat like a USB drive, though the opal slip was clearly more advanced as its contents could be accessed using spiritual sense alone.

Without hesitation, Sebastian extended his spiritual sense over the opal slip. As he did, the slip emitted a faint glow, and an immense wave of information surged into his mind.

Sebastian felt a heavy pressure in his head as the overwhelming wave of information flooded into his mind. After a moment, the sensation subsided, leaving his mind clearer.

"This… This is the Law of Force—the most powerful of the Three Thousand Great Path!" Faylin's voice trembled with shock. "It's real! I thought it was only a legend, but it actually exists!"

Sebastian looked at her seriously and warned, "Keep this knowledge to yourself. Don't tell anyone. If word spreads, it will bring disaster upon us both."

Faylin nodded solemnly. She clearly understood the gravity of the situation. She knew that the Law of Force was priceless beyond imagination.

If others found out, even the most powerful beings would stop at nothing to seize it, triggering chaos and bloodshed across the world.

After taking a final look at the opal slip, Faylin handed it back to Sebastian. He then stowed it safely away with a grave expression.

Then, turning his gaze to the skeleton lying beside them, Sebastian felt a wave of deep respect for the ancient cultivator who had fallen here.

This had once been a peerless genius, someone capable of grasping the most powerful law in existence. And yet, even such a figure had met his end in this desolate place.
