Leila immediately stood up and shouted, "Using hidden weapons is strictly forbidden during the match, yet you blatantly violated the rules and ambushed Rhys with one. You're audacious beyond belief!"
"Mr. Jarvis, I suggest that we disqualify him from the competition and abolish his cultivation!" Alfie suggested.
Franz turned to Sebastian and asked, "Sebastian, what do you have to say for yourself?"
"I used a magical artifact, not a hidden weapon. Also, I attacked him head-on. It wasn't a sneak attack," Sebastian retorted.
"How dare you argue with me?" Alfie looked at Franz and said, "Mr. Jarvis, I agree with Leila. We should disqualify him and abolish his cultivation to set an example!"
Just as Franz was about to speak, Sebastian pulled out the silver needle and asked, "I want to ask everyone here, why do you call this a hidden weapon? Is it because of its size? This is clearly a magical artifact."
Alfie and Leila were at a loss for words.
Franz said, "Enough. This matter is settled. However, for fairness, each competitor may only use one weapon during the match."
Though Alfie and Leila were both furious, they had no choice but to accept the decision.
With that, Sebastian successfully advanced to the top 20. One more victory would place him in the top ten, granting him access to the forbidden ground.
"Damn it!"
Leila gritted her teeth in anger. She had already decided to break off her engagement with Sebastian. The more useless he seemed, the more she believed that it was the right choice.
If he turned out to be exceptionally talented, it would only prove that her judgment was poor.
Alfie took her hand gently and said, "Don't worry. His next opponent is Jameson Stokes. I've already spoken to Jameson. He'll make sure to cripple that brat."
Jameson smirked as he looked at Sebastian. He said loudly, "Sebastian, you arrogant fool! You're lucky to have made it this far. But today, your luck has run out.
"I was among the top 20 in the last tournament, far stronger than Rhys. Compared to me, you're just like a mouse trying to fight a lion."
Sebastian's gaze remained calm and unwavering. He replied indifferently, "The fight is not over yet, so why boast? Let's see who's really the weak one when we settle this with our skills."
The crowd buzzed with anticipation.
"Jameson is truly impressive. No wonder he was in the top 20 last tournament."
"Sebastian's in real danger now. Jameson is even stronger than Rhys."
