Leila led everyone to the entrance. The moment she saw Sebastian, her face turned sour, and she blew her top.
"Who are you? How dare you claim to be my fiance?" Leila glared at him, full of enmity in her eyes.
Composed, Sebastian met her eyes and replied, "I'm Sebastian Wilder, and this is the marriage agreement. I'm here to fulfill the agreement."
As he spoke, he took out the agreement and passed it to Leila. After taking a look at it, she sniggered. "This agreement is fake! Do you think I'll believe your lies?"
"How dare you impose as Ms. Leila's fiance? You're asking for it!"
Leila's admirers echoed along, reprimanding Sebastian for lying. Some even unsheathed their swords, ready to kill Sebastian.
During this tense moment, a voice suddenly boomed. "Stop it, all of you!"
Everyone turned to the source of the voice and saw a middle-aged man approaching them. He held his back straight and carried an imposing air around him. This man was none other than the chief of Swordity, Franz Jarvis.
Franz paced to Sebastian, took the marriage agreement from him, and read it. His expression changed, and he looked at Sebastian, asking, "How did you get this agreement?"
Sebastian answered honestly, "My father, Billie Wilder, left it for me."
Franz nodded and said, "This marriage agreement is authentic. Back then, I made this agreement with your father. I didn't expect that you'd show up here."
"What? Is he really Ms. Leila's fiance?" After hearing Franz's statement, everyone was stunned. Never would they guess that the plain-looking Sebastian would turn out to be Leila's fiance.
Leila's admirers looked dumbstruck and turned to Sebastian with enmity, and even a murderous look, in their eyes.
Leila's expression turned even more unpleasant. Unwilling to accept the situation, she gritted her teeth and said, "Father, I don't acknowledge this marriage. I'llnever marry this man!"
Turning to her, Franz said, "Leila, this promise was made back then. You can't break the agreement just like that. Moreover, Sebastian seems like a gentleman. Why won't you give him a chance?"
Leila argued in a huff, "I'm not giving him the chance. He's not good enough for me!"
