Jerome eyed Vincenzo with a smirk of disdain. "You might be a big shot at the Skyla Academy, but you're still too green to take me on. Better go get someone more capable."
Vincenzo had felt a little uneasy at first, but seeing Jerome's blatant contempt made his blood boil. "Jerome, you're overestimating yourself. Don't be so sure about the outcome just yet."
Jerome scoffed. "If you're so eager for a beating, I won't disappoint. Come on then."
With a dismissive wave of his hand, Jerome's eyes flickered with scorn.
Vincenzo could no longer contain his anger, and powerful spiritual energy erupted from him in a flash.
"He's a demigod!" The crowd could feel Vincenzo's strength and marveled in silent awe. To reach such a level at his age was a rare feat.
However, Jerome only wore a faint smile. His expression was filled with mockery.
With a low roar, Vincenzo moved like lightning, hurling a punch charged with spiritual energy straight at Jerome's face.
Jerome didn't flinch or move an inch and punched him too.
As their fists collided, a blinding flash of light erupted between them. The tremendous force of their spiritual energy burst out in all directions.
Jerome barely staggered, but Vincenzo's face paled. He stumbled forward, coughing up a mouthful of blood.
Jerome wore a sinister smile as he closed in like a ghost. His foot was infused with sharp spiritual energy as he kicked at Vincenzo's head.
Vincenzo's face went pale with fear. He then hurriedly crossed his arms to block the attack.
A dull thud echoed as Vincenzo managed to block the kick, but the impact sent his internal energy into turmoil, making him cough up a mouthful of blood again.
