Jon was absolutely furious. "I am the Chief Elder of the Lacuna Sect, and I'm one of the most formidable warriors in all of South Mount country! How dare a mere brat like you speak to me this way? How audacious!"
"Is that so?" Sebastian responded with a bright smile. Suddenly, a terrifying aura surged from him.
"You're a pinnacle demigod! How is this possible?" Jon was left dumbfounded, his eyes wide with disbelief upon sensing Sebastian's true power.
In his youth, Jon had been a renowned genius, reaching the Demigod Realm before turning 30.
However, it had taken him a full hundred years to progress from a one-star demigod to a pinnacle demigod. Yet here stood Sebastian, who appeared to be in his early 20s, brimming with vitality and youth.
There was no way he could be older than 50.
To reach the pinnacle demigod level by 40-something was an extraordinary feat. Even across the vast Perpetual World, such talent was exceedingly rare, making Sebastian a true prodigy.
After quickly regaining his composure, Jon sneered. "So what if you're a pinnacle demigod? I reached this level over 10 years ago! My cultivation is undoubtedly more profound than yours, and my techniques and battle experience are leagues ahead of yours!"
"You talk too much," Sebastian replied, sounding increasingly impatient. He began walking toward Jon.
While narrowing his eyes, Jon finally shed any trace of underestimation. He silently channeled his spiritual energy, ready to strike with lightning speed as soon as Sebastian stepped within his attack range.
When Sebastian entered within six feet of him, Jon's figure blurred as he lunged forward with incredible speed. In an instant, he appeared before Sebastian and struck toward his chest with a powerful palm attack.
Jon's palm surged with intense fire-based spiritual energy, flames seemingly roaring within it. Even before his palm landed on Sebastian, Sebastian could feel the terrifying heat wave radiating from it.
Depending on one's physique and cultivation techniques, the spiritual energy they cultivated differed.
The most common attributes were the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, with rarer ones being wind and lightning.
