A cold glint flashed across Sebastian's eyes.
Theodore, on the other hand, wore a smug smile. It was as if he could already envision Sebastian lying in a pool of his own blood.
Just as the dagger was about to pierce Sebastian's stomach, it came to an abrupt halt. His wrist had been caught by a powerful hand.
"Let go!" Theodore demanded. There was a mix of shock and rage contorting his face, as both of his hands were now firmly held by Sebastian.
"As you wish," Sebastian replied. With a swift twist of his hands, a sharp crack echoed, and Theodore's wrists snapped instantly.
"Ahhh!" Theodore screamed in agony, his cries piercing the air, making everyone around feel chills running down their spines. He then collapsed to the ground, writhing in pain.
"What?" The onlookers widened their eyes in disbelief, stunned by what they had just witnessed. Theodore was the top apprentice of Lacuna Sect's younger generation, one of the strongest young warriors in all of South Mount.
Yet, here he was, utterly helpless against Sebastian. This level of strength was terrifying.
Sebastian then turned his gaze toward the apprentices who had restrained Lana and Harvey. They trembled with fear, releasing the siblings immediately.
"Sebastian," Lana hurried over to him, her eyes full of concern.
"Lana, Sebastian, what do we do now?" Harvey asked anxiously.
"We need to leave quickly," Lana urged. "Theodore is the top apprentice of Lacuna Sect and the grandson of the Chief Elder. Once the sect leader and elders find out, they definitely won't let us go."
Sebastian wasn't particularly worried, but he didn't want to stir up unnecessary trouble either. He took the siblings with him and soared into the sky, heading toward the distant horizon.
He didn't go far, stopping on a mountain just about ten miles away. As soon as they landed, Harvey looked at Sebastian with admiration.
