Sebastian stepped forward to inspect the body. After the fake Lillian's death, her true form was revealed. She was indeed a beautiful woman, or more accurately, a demoness.
Apart from the faint traces of demonic energy in her body, she had two short horns on her head. The horns were about two inches long.
Sebastian wasn't particularly interested in her appearance. He was more concerned about whether she had anything valuable on her. After a quick check, it seemed she had nothing worth.
However, just as he was about to leave, his eyes caught sight of a ring on her finger.
"Could this be the storage space ring?" he thought.
He quickly removed it to have a close look. He then discovered a magical seal upon it, confirming his suspicions.
With a surge of spiritual energy, he effortlessly broke the seal. After that, his consciousness dove into the ring's inner space.
The ring's internal space was only about 30 cubic meters, and it was significantly smaller than the one Faylin had given him.
There was nothing much in the space storage ring. It only had a blood-red broadsword and a bottle of pills. When he opened the bottle, he found only three blood-red pills inside.
He took it up and smelled it, realizing that the scent of the pills were similar to the scent of the Blood Demon pill. However, he felt that the energy within these were more volatile, so he guessed that they were likely an enhanced version of Blood Demon pill.
On the other hand, the broadsword exuded a sinister aura. As he gripped it, he could feel a cold and malevolent energy coursing through the blade. It didn't feel like he was holding a weapon but rather a bloodthirsty dragon.
Sebastian was curious about its power. As he raised the sword, it suddenly trembled violently in his hand, as if it was trying to break free.
Sebastian was very shocked, and he realized that the sword had developed sentience.
Could this be a legendary spiritual artifact?
Sebastian quickly summoned his spiritual energy to suppress the Demon Blade. His active energy had a powerful restraining effect on the blade, and given that the weapon hadn't absorbed demonic energy in a long time, its power was severely limited.
It didn't take long before he successfully subdued it.
