"Damien!" Yvette rushed over and helped Damien up. Then, she turned to the masked man behind her and exclaimed angrily, "Don't you think that you are being too harsh?"
The masked man smiled coldly. "He should be glad that he's still alive. If he licks the floor clean and cuts off his penis to feed the dogs, I'll let him live."
Damien almost exploded from fury. "No matter what, I'm the heir of the Osborne family. You're being unreasonable!"
The masked man sneered. "Since you can bully others, I can do the same to you. Do as I said if you want to live. Otherwise, you won't be able to walk out of here alive."
Damien was taken aback and furious at the same time, but he thought that the masked man was from Infernal Gate. That meant he couldn't make an enemy out of him. So, he turned to the manager instead.
"Manager, I'm here to attend Apex's wedding. By hurting me, he is as good as hurting the pride of the Divine Sect."
With a solemn face, the manager assured, "Don't worry, Mr. Osborne. We'll provide you with a satisfactory explanation."
Next, he faced the masked man. "You don't seem to respect the Divine Sect at all."
Sneering, the masked man replied, "You're a bird of the same feather with them. If you give your daughter to me before night falls, I'll let you live."
The manager chuckled in frustration. "I've been tolerating you for Ms. Hollister's sake, but you're taking a yard for an inch. Do you really think that my hands are tied against you because you have her protection?"
Placing his hands behind himself, the masked man said calmly, "I don't need anyone's protection. Anyone who bullies Drakaria and Hydra today either dies or lives a life worse than death."
"Who is this guy? He's so arrogant!"
