Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 784

An invisible wave of sword energy shot out from Sebastian's strike as it aimed to cut down everything in its path.

Walric and Phoca quickly raised their weapons to block. With a loud explosion, the force sent them stumbling backward.

Sebastian used his Phantom Stride and flashed in front of them. He then thrust his sword straight at Phoca.

"Watch out, Phoca!" Walric was startled and quickly raised his broadsword. He swung it at Sebastian to force him to retreat.

But Sebastian didn't retreat or dodge. Instead, he clenched his fist and threw a punch straight at him. "Go to hell!"

Walric's eyes were filled with glee. He was wielding a supreme artifact broadsword. To him, Sebastian's attempt to block it with his bare fist was a thrilling challenge. He imagined Sebastian's hand being sliced cleanly in half.

It wasn't unusual for practitioners to block long swords and broadswords with their fists at a certain cultivation base level. This typically happened when there was a big power gap, or both were masters of body refinement.

Cultivators usually began with inner energy cultivation and focused on spiritual energy in the early stages. As they reached the Demigod Realm, they shifted to spiritual energy while concentrating on body refinement. But some took the opposite approach. They prioritized body refinement before inner energy cultivation.

Unbeknownst to Walric, Sebastian practiced dual cultivation. He cultivated both spiritual energy and body refinement. This made him powerful in both aspects so that he could block Walric's broadsword with his fists.

When Walric's weapon struck Sebastian's fist with a loud crash, the smile on Walric's face quickly faded. Instead of the expected bloody scene, sparks flew from the impact. Walric wondered if Sebastian was even a human.

While Walric was stunned, Sebastian's long sword pierced Phoca's heart.

Phoca's eyes widened in shock before he collapsed. He was dead with his eyes still open.

"Phoca!" Squalus and Walric were consumed with grief and rage. They wanted to tear Sebastian apart but didn't dare to act rashly.
