Remorse After Breaking Up (Sebastian) novel Chapter 779

"This doesn't look good." Sebastian's expression changed, and he rushed toward the sounds of the fight.

He suspected that the pirates had found Fressia. Despite her hatred for him, she was still his wife, and he wouldn't let anyone harm her.

Since he was far away, the fight had ended by the time he arrived. The area was deserted, and the ground was scarred from a violent struggle. Although the fight was brief, it was extremely intense.

Sebastian had no idea what had happened. He was worried whether the pirates had captured Fressia or if she had managed to escape.

In this world, cultivators were incredibly strong. Even a low-level thug was a grandmaster, and there were likely plenty of divine grandmasters around.

But with Fressia's cultivation base, even a divine grandmaster wouldn't stand a chance against her. Still, Sebastian worried that she might encounter a demigod.

He searched the area and spotted two pirates. He quickly killed one and grabbed the other by the neck before he could react. "Answer my questions if you want to live. What happened earlier?" he demanded coldly.

The pirate hurriedly replied, "I'm just a low-level thug. I don't know the details, but I heard they captured a very beautiful woman."

"What?" Sebastian exclaimed in shock.

His worst fear was realized as it appeared that the pirates had captured Fressia. These pirates were ruthless, and he knew the danger she faced. He must rescue her as quickly as possible.

"Where did they take her?" he asked urgently.

"It's either the dungeon or the Pirate Conclave," the pirate replied nervously.

"Map out these two locations," Sebastian ordered.

The pirate didn't dare disobey. He quickly used a branch to draw a simple map on the ground and marked the hidden lookouts.
